I have exhausted most Mozilla/Firefox instructions on the web as to 'How I delete all bookmarks at once'. The word 'Library' does not appear in the drop-down menu.

What version number of Firefox are you using? From the details supplied with your question, it appears that you are using an older version of Chrome.
