When I start to log into one of my online accounts Firefox suggests several usernames. How do I tell Firefox to forget the extra/wrong ones?

TIA,

Paul

Hi Paul, if these were saved as logins (user name + password pair) then you can remove them from the Password Manager. See: Password Manager - Remember, delete and edit logins and passwords in Firefox.

If they were saved as form fill suggestions -- typically these are in a somewhat ugly drop-down -- you can arrow down to the item in the list and press either Delete or Shift+Delete (this may vary per OS) to remove them from form history.

If neither of those seems applicable, the names might be saved in cookies set by the site. You can press Shift+F9 to open the Storage Inspector on the page and see what cookies the site has set. (Also, local storage could be relevant.)

Any progress on cleaning those out?
