I need to reconfigure my wifi range extender, and I have just now discovered you have removed the "Accept & continue" button in the "Secured connection failed" error screen . Now I am left with no way to reconfigure it and browse on my home internet. Is there a solution to this? How am I supposed to work? I'm in Uni rn and this is really disruptive

The GPU isn't working properly... I've attached screenshots of the browser I have installed. If needed, I can take any logs, etc. It's very frustrating - I have a fairly old processor and its GPU isn't working properly! Is there a way to view all cookies or all site data for _all_ sites in a central location? I have a malware compromised computer that I took off the network and want to check which sites have auth information stored in cookies (or maybe local storage).

I cannot use the developer tools as those require a tab where a page of an origin is already loaded, which is of course not possible since the computer is now offline. Just the cookie count and storage amount is not sufficient because most pages store something, even if there was not login.

I am confused about the difference between the two ways of zooming: 1. Pinch-to-zoom with two fingers on the laptop touchpad. 2. Page zoom with the keyboard: Ctrl + plus, Ctrl + minus, and Ctrl + 0.

On the laptop, pinch-to-zoom is very convenient. But when I connect an external monitor, a keyboard and a mouse, and then close the laptop lid, the touchpad is no longer available. If a page is still zoomed in from a pinch gesture, I cannot zoom back out to the normal size using only the keyboard and mouse.

Even though I am using Firefox on a Fedora based system, it should not change my startup page back to the Fedora project after every update, especially since I, the user has explicitly selected a different option in the settings after initial setup (Default Firefox homepage). I don't care about the new developments in Fedora enough to break my flow to look at it. This wouldn't be a big problem on a secondary browser, but Firefox is my main browser, I even have an account with which I am posting this, and in that case, changing the startup page to Fedora project after every update without my consent, even though it can be changed back to what I want, is a real problem.

how to make the scrollbar thicker (as you can see on the attachment)? I can hardly click it with my mouse.

I did try out many things (new profile, chromcss etc.) and it didnt work. Please answer if you know how to do it under Linux, xfce. Thank you.

Does FF have a maximum number of windows / tabs that can be open at one time? I use 12 workspaces each with multiple windows / tabs in them, roughly guessing ~100 windows and ~8-50 tabs per window

FF randomly hangs / crashes 1-3 times a day for me and has been for some time (over multiple revisions of FF; currently 157.0.1) requiring restarting FF

System: Large workstation, 128G memory, i9-7920x (12c / 24T) Linux, OpenSuSE Leap 15.6 FF source from FF repos, not OpenSuSE

Any settings I need to change to prevent the crashes?

Hello ! I'm confronted to a very weird behavior of Firefox, on Ubuntu 24.04.

When I'm clicking on a link in a mail of pdf document, the page opens in Firefox, I can navigate and click in it but when I try to type something (for instance to enter my id to connect), the keyboard does not consider I'm in Firefox but still in the previous application (Thunderbird etc). To be able to type something in Firefox, I need to go back to another window (alt tab) then go back to Firefox manually...

This also occurs if Firefox hides the other application on the screen. Note that from the colors of the windows (the tone of grey), I looks like that Firefox is the active window and no longer Thunderbird.

Other than bringing myself back to a different browser, is there a way to block Firefox's own advertisements.

I am back again with the same issue that I presented on the forum post three months ago. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1594903?utm_campaign=questions-reply The difference is now it is happening on Firefox v157.0.1;everything else is identical. Qubes os R4.3.2 with Firefox 157.0.1 in a Fedora 44 xfce VM. To recap I open one window for Proxmox Datacenter Manager and as soon as I click to sign in Firefox completely disappears. I can open this in Chromium browser and Firefox ESR v.140.17.0 esr perfectly fine. Please consult the original post for all I did to troubleshoot this. I am working with the esr version now but would like to help put this issue to bed. Community members stepped up last time to help me so I am here to do my small part for others. Ask for any info you need and I'll reply ASAP. Thanks in advance. SDS

i turned the machine off last night as normal. turned on this morning and you had signed me out... why? i had all the pages open i needed and everything was normal. i eventually after not getting answers else where signed back in after a typing error.. but i cannot restore last nights session what is or was the problem im back in but something doesnt feel right

I posted a question and found it wasn't a firefox problem but think it had to do with Linux. I wanted to delete the question so as not to waste people's time, but didn't see how to do that.

Multiple ways of installing on linux, same outcome.

Every major update, like today, it SEEMS to do "installing updates" on a restart of the app. Sometimes, it then crashes my whole OS. Sometimes, it's just the next time i restart the OS, the browser ACTUALLY updates, and EVERYTHING is gone. It loads to a brand new firefox. I have tried creating a new profile, but this behavior persists.

Every week or two, I have to re-log into every service. Every time, I have to make damn sure I've got backup on, because apparently, whether the backup setting is ON or OFF is not at all a part of a backed up profile!

How can I get a persistent firefox experience? I just want to get back to the good ol' days.
