I recently updated the browser to 110.0.1 hoping that the bug that was introduced in the previous update was fixed but it has not yet. Please could you advise me what options are available to me?

Fault: thumbwheel scroll not working on Firefox since previous update.

I had considered performing a fresh install but I do not want to lose my stored passwords, bookmarks etc.

Are you using X-Mouse Button Control or XMBC ? as XMBC has had a major (and two minor) update by the author recently to fix the scrolling issue in Firefox.

Btw your settings like bookmarks, passwords and such are in a Profile in a separate place as they are not in the Firefox program folder.
