Can’t find how to sign into uBlock because I keep getting request to download Firefox even though I have used Firefox for years. I can’t find a button to push to complete the sign into uBlock extension

What do you mean by "sign into uBlock"? If you are referring to uBlock Origin, you can open it in Add-ons and Themes (ctl+shft+a) and select Manage or Preferences.

The "keep getting request to download Firefox" sounds like your browser useragent is modified or you are trying to install the Extension on Firefox for iOS (iPhone/iPad). The Extensions are only available for desktop Firefox (Windows, macOS, Linux) and for Android Firefox.
