I have noticed that Firefox consume a lot of CPU, heats up computer and drains battery. Attached picture shows usage in safe mode. Everything is up-to-date (fresh system is installed today). Also, all drivers are up-to-date. When watching youtube usage goes even higher. I have never experienced such a thing with Mozilla. Any advice? Same thing with 3D acceleration on/off. I'm running laptop dell 3147 Pentium N3530, 8Gb RAM and 480 ssd. My other computer is older and usage for firefox while watching youtube range from 3% to 15%.

ps. I apologize for any mistakes made in grammar but English is not my first language

If you want, post using your own language.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?

Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe websites. Is the problem still there?

I started both computer and firefox in a safe mode and the same thing is happening. Firefox CPU usage rage between 55% to almost 70%.

If the problem goes away with Firefox in Safe Mode, the problem is somewhere in Firefox (or its add-ons).

If the problem goes away with the computer in Safe Mode, the problem is in the computer.

I suspect a hardware problem. I've called for more help.

Another thing i have noticed rigth now. That it doesn't matter what browser I'll use for youtube. CPU usage goes up instantly.

Is this with just Youtube, or worst with Youtube?

Regular browsing / searching goes up to 15-25%. Youtube double it or even triple it.
