I have both my PC and my phone signed into the same account and they are both synced. When using the option to send tab to my phone from my PC nothing appears on my phone but there's a pop-up on my PC saying it sent the tab or it was it's a check mark or something that suggests that it knows I wanted to send a tab. And then usually when I am trying to go to bed there is a tab that was playing on my PC so I go to bed and I open up my phone, I select the tab in the sync section and I sync the devices and then I attempt to close the tab. About half the time, honestly probably more the tab will not close and stays active on my PC and it is usually a twitch tab so then when I'm trying to sleep I just hear sound coming from my PC, the tab is gone from my phone so I can't even attempt to hit the x on it again so I end up having to get up and exit on my computer. I think also I've tried to send a tab from my phone to my PC, I could have sworn that was a thing and I don't remember that working either.

For some reason, when I try to sync all my stuff from my desktop Win 11 firefox/duckduckgo system, to my new Win 11 laptop, the only option I can get is to sync with a mobile device.

I had no trouble doing this some months ago with another laptop, but this time I cannot find how to do this after trying for over an hour . . . . . .

Has anything been changed that won't allow syncing with another 'big' device, please?

Sync does not transfer settings; preferences, extensions, etc. on mobile and there does not seem to be a way to do so at all. Terrible user experience setting up a new phone with Firefox.

My tabs from a Windows 10 PC were imported to Firefox running on my Mac Studio ( OS is Tahoe ver 26.2). How do I easily recover these tabs and prevent this behavior in the future? Note: I have copied previous versions of the Firefox profiles files to my active profiles folder, but this does not bring back the lost tabs.

Recently I had to install a new windows, and I signed in to my Firefox account and found all the data from the previous windows including the open tabs, I could find them from "Tabs from other devices".

But now can't find them any more, although that device name is still there in my account page, under " connected services", please advise.

I have linux LMSDE7 Mint, Firefox will not sync. I click on the 3 top right corner lines, sign into Mozzilla, the bookmarks have not synced. Then if I go back to the same lines, it has still the "sign in" field, clicking has no reaction. It seems that mozilla is not signing in I have an other linux version, winux, there I have no problems, it syncs ok.

I am trying to sync my Firefox from my old laptop (Windows 10) to a new laptop (Windows 11) Mozilla sends verification code to my email, but my email is so slow that by the time this code arrives it already expired. a) Can verification code be sent to my phone? b) if not, how can I increase the time allowed for imputing the verification code to wait until I receive the code?

Hello, I’d recently bought 2 new Macs, (for different purposes), as well as preserving my account in my iOS Devices, Since i couldn’t remember my password, (and I’m no longer making music), I’ve changed several settings in my account (but JUST on one of the 2 Macs, and not on the iPhone, either), I was successful in making those changes (for that one Mac), now I must do the same with my other Devicesm they’re both MacOS (Tahoe), and iOS 26, iPad (there are 2 iPads). I’m not a Business, I’ve simply been trying to separate my Studying of a Language, and Classical Indian Literature, i.e.: Vedanta; from my other Mac, on what I’m calling “Secular”, I try not to mix both devices… Do I make sense to you? Essentially, my Firefox/Mozilla account is totally messed up, and not synching.

Hi, I need help retrieving my Saved passwords, Bookmarks and History. I have recently changed my mobile phone and Laptop. I've logged in on both items. I can't find my password, its clean. I can only see the visited sites that were on my new mobile, but nothing from my old laptop even after login and Sync

HI All Recently purchased a laptop and want to have FF sync with my desk top. I am signed in to both devices with the same account and have checked all settings on both and they are identical. Why are they not syncing?

When I frequently turn off my computer using the system unit's power button, meaning a quick shutdown, after several such shutdowns, when I launch the browser, I'm prompted to log in again. Bookmarks that weren't synced disappear. And I'm also logged out of all the websites I was logged into, forcing me to log in again. Cachyos Linux.

Please help, it looks like my passwords are not synced anymore on any Mozilla I use. I sue a Mozilla portable at home and a classic desktop on my office. The synchronyzation works for bookmarks, browse history and download history but not a single password is imported on my sessions ! My files are present : see screenshot01 so my passwords are here. Login.json contains data. So what's the problem. The debug mode said that : see screenshot 02 Thanks for the help

My Firefox sync stopped working after the latest update. Bookmarks are not syncing between my desktop and laptop. I have tried signing out and back in but it still does not work. Any suggestions?

After updating Firefox to the latest version, my bookmarks are no longer syncing across devices. I have Firefox installed on Windows 11 and Linux, and the sync was working fine before the update. I have tried signing out and back in to my Mozilla account but the issue persists. Any help would be appreciated.

I had a phone set up for synchronization, and the tabs were synced. Now, that phone has disappeared from my main phone—the one that listed all the devices—and all the tabs are gone. What should I do?
