app icon gone missing

one of the apps I have installed (and can run from the market or search) on the zte open c (ebay) no longer has an icon on any of the home screens. this occured as i was trying to move the icon, and it somehow did not work. I know about the swipe to change homescreens, and it is not on any of them. I dont know any way to uninstall the app without an icon, so i can't reinstall it, which I would think would re-add the icon.
