is there a way to stop Firefox 102 or even earlier versions to stop using div for line break or <enter> key press? Why is this the case ? HTML standard?

That is an old change that I suspect was made for some web compatibility reason. I don't know whether this reply is still applicable:

Hi jscher2000

I recently migrated from 52 to 102 , so I wouldn't know all the changes in between . br tag makes it more readable for me dealing with the codes. I do not understand the logic behind this standard change.

Anyway, thank you very much for your solution , it solved my problem.
