After scanning documents from Epson printer and using the send-to email function I am not receiving the email with attachment. I have also tried switching from Epson WiFi back to home WIFI and I still don't receive them

When routinely compacting folders I always get the error message that Inbox folder could not be compacted because writing to folder failed. I have repeatedly tried to repair the folder and have confirmed all folder permissions are as they should be-i.e., full control, without success. So I thought the thing to do is delete the folder and create a new Inbox. First to save the messages I want to keep to my 2024 Archive and I selected about 430 messages to archive. Those are now lost as far as I can tell and did not make it to Archives. I tried to delete Inbox folder and it would not delete. I then deleted messages in the folder one by one. It turns out that there is one message that would not delete no matter what (a Craigslist conversation). I try to delete or move to trash and nothing happens. So now my Inbox has one email left in it but it says that it contains 240MB! (The size of my missing 430 messages???) What is going on? I also have the bug that opens Inbox on some random previous email and not on the latest one. My OS is Windows 10, TB version 128.4.0esr, and Anti Virus is Windows Defender.

Before, when exporting mails in pdf, I could indicate that I also needed an index of all mails, which is no longer possible? If I choose export pdf, no choice anymore?

I can find no difference of settings between five accounts that Get Messages just fine and several accounts that STOPPED DOING SO -- getting no emails even when I click on dropdown for individual account

So I have two exchange accounts. Both were working until a recent Thunderbird update. Now they both will receive email, but only one will send. The offending account will spine for a bit on send and error out with the change password or retry. Both do not work. I have tried everything from recreating the account to creating a new SMTP account. I am at a loss at this point. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am using,

Thunderbird 128.4.1esr (64-bit) Avast as in the pic. Also the SMTP setting in the pic. These are the same as the account that is work bar the credential change. This on Windows 11.

With the latest update to version 128.3.3 in October 2024, I have lost the local folders to one email account and the address books to both email accounts. Any advice in how to retrieve them?

I'm using 115.16.0esr (64-bit) for Linux. I received an email message. I have the protection for not download images (I don't know if this is relevant, but the issue only happened after I select download images, as I didn't try before). Now, when I select the message, I can't scroll down and see the bottom of it. Neither with the mouse scroll wheel, not using arrow or page down keys.

I tried opening the message in another tab, and did not work. I can only read the whole message when I click to reply, in the new message.

Дробового времени суток. После смены пароля, пропали сообщения входящие, отправленные, удаленные. При это всем если использовать поиск глобальный (на нескольких почтах), то сообщения показывает. Каким образом вернуть обратно сообщения. Делал переустановку (с выгрузкой профилей), починку папок.

Just added Thunderbird for Android and imported my email addresses.

I am not seeing any messages in the unified inbox and only see that folder and the outbox folder. I have 4 different gmail accounts and 1 yahoo account where I have no issues on the desktop side. Android is 14, running on unlocked Motorola Edge+ 2023 and T-Mobile network.

Please let me know if there is anything additional I can supply to resolve this.

I am setting up a new computer, and have installed thunderbird. When I try to use the Troubleshooting Information "Profile Folder" option, it tells me the location is not available.

How do I get to that location so I can paste abook.sqlite and history.sqlite in and be on my way?

My entire experience with TB has changed and I don't know if it's something I did or if TB changed its format. I just want my old start screen back to the way it was before. Now, I send an email with photos included IN THE EMAIL and when I look at Sent email it looks nothing like what I sent and the photos are at the bottom of the screen as attachments. If these changes are on TB's end, I'm definitely not happy with them. Is there a way to get the previous format back?

An e-mail body displayed does not match subject header. This is rare, 1-2x per month and for a single e-mail. The subject line above and below (even though rest of header matches body) is for a deleted e-mail. I've seen this most often with e-mails left in Inbox for several days. Windows 11 & TB 115.4.2 (but has existed in earlier versions as well)

Two queries:- I have a strange black square that appears when replying to emails. It can be moved with the cursor but won't disappear. I have the option set which displays the number of messages and the disc space they occupy in various folder. In the Deleted folder, when I empty it, either using 'Empty Deleted' or manually be selecting all the messages and using the delete key, The number of messages drops to zero but the disc space is still occupied. This is in contrast to the junk folder where the operation works as expected. Help, please!

Hello I use Thunderbird version 128.3.1esr (64 bity)

I have a problem. Everyday thuderbird do "cataloging mailboxes" - i have 10 mailboxes and each day Thunderbird do this to random few mailboxes.

each few days he create new inboxx folder and copy to them mails - now i have 21 inboxes with duplicated mails.

Does anyone have an idea how to solve this complex problem?

Warum werden Adressen aus den Kontakten im roten Feld und mit folgenden Zeichen angezeigt "<>!" Nach entfernen der automatisch angehängten Zeichen wird die Adresse richtig angezeigt und man kann die Mail versenden.
