sync with mobile and laptop. URL in Firefox has Icon to accept QR code, so I tap that and camera comes on. I take a snapshot of the QR code on the laptop, but then syncing gives the error message that does not make sense to anyone from THIS planet and does not sync.

I'm a new user here and I'm facing a very specific and frustrating technical issue with Firefox for Android that I hope someone can help me diagnose.

I've been trying to download a large file, but it seems to get corrupted every single time when I use Firefox. The download completes, but the resulting APK file is unusable and gives an error during installation ("There was a problem parsing the package").

To be very specific, so you can hopefully replicate the issue, I am trying to download a game modification file. The file is a gta san andreas mod apk that includes a cleo menu. The file size is quite large, over 1GB.

Here's the crucial part:

When I download this file using Google Chrome on the same Android device and the same Wi-Fi network, the download is successful and the file works perfectly. When I use Firefox for Android, it fails every time. This makes me strongly believe the issue is with how Firefox for Android handles large file downloads, not with the file or the server itself.

I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps:

Cleared Firefox's cache and data. Tried downloading on both Wi-Fi and mobile data. Ensured I have more than 10GB of free storage on my device. So my questions for the community are:

Is this a known bug? Are there issues with Firefox for Android's download manager when handling large APK files, specifically ones that might be a gta san andreas mod apk with a cleo menu? Could Firefox's Enhanced Tracking Protection or other security features be interfering with the download stream, causing the file to become corrupted? Are there any settings in about:config that I could tweak to make the downloader more stable for large files? I really want to continue using Firefox as my primary browser on Android, but this download issue is a major problem for me. Any technical advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have installed Firefox and Facebook Lite on my Android 13. When i try to open a link to Facebook.com that is coming from somewhere else than Facebook Lite it is taking me to Firefox where it asks me to open in Facebook and then takes me to the Facebook app in the App Store, ignoring that i have Facebook Lite. Any solution to this?

I am presently engaged in the development of a website. I regularly open it with Firefox Android after making changes. I have noticed that even after deleting the entire history and reloading the page, the old navigation links still appear, although they have been partially replaced or deleted on the page.

When i click fullscreen on a youtube video, it does not go full screen, the video goes to the top of my screen but does not grow and fill the screen. It has been like this for 2+ years

Firefox cann't use microphone in my android 5.1 device. But a camera work perfectly (after confirm allow in a pop-up with asking "if you want to share your device’s camera and microphone with that site.") FireFox detect microfone as "default input device" but it doesn"t work. In a special sites that can test a work of the microphone, drop down list of the detected device (in the Firefox) contains only one item "default input device" and microphone doesn't work. In other browsers (Chrome), вesides this "default input device" that drop down also contains other items and microphone work perfectly I need to use microphone in Firefox for web version of a messenger that doesn't support in ohter browsers and apk on this android device

If I pause for longer than 4 seconds while typing a YouTube comment/reply the keypad disappears and I have to tap in the text box to make the keypad reappear.

How do I make the keypad remain unconditionally visible while typing YouTube comments/replies?

some pages while browsing would refresh upon touch input. usually it happens only once. but in one website it kept refreshing as I tried to click anything. only way to stop it is to touch and hold to see if the refresh symbol appears and if it does, I have to slide the finger up, before releasing, so as to cancell the refresh.

I'm trying to download a few game mod APKs, like Stick War: Legacy Mod APK at https://legacystickwarapp.com/, but some links either fail to load or redirect oddly when using Firefox on my Android device. Is this a Firefox issue or something else? The same link works fine in Chrome. Is there any setting or security feature in Firefox blocking this?

Collection is a handy tool to open commonly required websites. While selecting a saved website to open, I have unknowingly selected X and my collection got deleted.

How to recover them. There can be a better way.

Can there be an Undo option. Avoid both Opening or deleting option in one line. Separate screen for Management of Collection.

When ever I access APNEWS.COM using my Galaxy S24+ I am presented a "pop up" stating "Accessibility Enabled". It happens on every page at the site as well as the home page for APNEWS. If I use their "Desktop Site" I do not receive this pop up. Can this be turned off with an Android Firefox option? I don't want to use their desktop version of the website, and I do not get this nuisance using other browsers. I am happy there are modes for those that need them but the barrage of pop ups makes their site unusable. I am submitting this from my laptop not the phone. I have bookmarks in Firefox (Android) nested several layers deep. Every time I tap the Bookmarks menu item, I am sent to the top level Bookmarks folder, where I then have to tap through several layers of folders to return to the place I was just at. It is maddening.

Is there an option to return to the last Bookmarks folder I viewed? This seems like a basic usability feature. (It's certainly a feature in Brave for Android.)

I recently fully switched over to Firefox, outside a few minor things it's working beautifully. However since a few weeks i'm having huge problems with the text-fields within the browser, like Google Search and various other sites. I switched from Stable to Beta, no luck. To prove it still exists, I used the nightly build. It deletes whole pieces of text when pressing space and when backspacing the word sometimes returns. It's very unusual behaviour, but other browsers dont have it.

I'm using a Pixel 9 Pro, latest update (BP1A.250505.005.C1). I tried with Google Keyboard and Microsoft Swiftkey, both give the same issues and it's honestly not usable anymore for me. Below there is a screen recording showing the issue.

NOTE - I HAVE ALREADY TOGGLED OFF ALWAYS REQUEST DESKTOP SITE. Since the latest update (6/2025), Firefox is always showing the desktop site EVEN THOUGH I HAVE TOGGLED OFF THE ALWAYS REQUEST DESKTOP SITE (SEE PHOTO). I have checked my settings, cleared cache, restarted my tablet (I'm on a Samsung Tab A8). See photos attached.
