I have several windows that won't open upon starting Firefox. I had 7 windows with multiple tabs open when last closed. They usually all open again (per my settings) when I open, but this time only 2 opened. I ultimately moved all tabs to new windows, but one window that has only one tab with "OneTab" (from the OneTab extension) in it won't open. And I can't move that tab anywhere. That "Onetab" has multiple important tab. Any idea for solutions?

Due mostly to upgrades in the app software, it's necessary to restart Firefox on occasion. Also, it's necessary due to OS upgrades. While the Restore Previous Session is a wonderful feature, it arbitrarily (and properly, by default) forgets all of the Private Tabs. But, there are times when I'd like to save some or all of the Private Tabs I've got open. A 'settable' feature to 'Remember Private Tabs during Restart' would be a tremendous asset at times.

I LOVE the Rename Tab feature in Firefox. But it doesn't appear to be accessible/work in Private Windows. Frankly, there are more Private Window tabs that I'd like to rename than regular window tabs. Help, please.

Up until recently (maybe a few months ago), clicking on a tel: link in Firefox opened my preferred soft phone immediately.

Recently, clicking on a tel: link opens a new tab in Firefox in addition to opening in my soft phone. How can I prevent the new tab from opening for tel links?

In the Firefox View tab, we can search for Open Tabs. I am wondering how I can make a strict search for a particular pattern. For example, let's say I have hundreds of tab open for youtube like below:

how can I ONLY search for open tabs that is the youtube front page (i.e to not match anything after the ".com"). If I just search for "youtube.com", it will match all of them, but I only want the front page.

Then, i can quickly close all of the duplicate

I have many more tabs open in the background then I actually have. I am not good at this but I can give what I know I am experiencing. 1st photo has16 tabs open in pc's task manager 2nd photo shows that I only had 2 tabs open in Firefox browser 3rd picture show 19 in task manager. I expanded in task manager the Firefox app and right clicked to end task to remove what might be ghosts tabs running in task manager. ----That did not work There are currently 6 of them that has the efficiency mode on the 19 tabs.

Firefox is getting complicating for my abilities but I appreciate using Firefox for all the flexibility. I usually ask a friend to set me up or help but he is unavailable and this seems to be above his head to. Crossing my fingers for a easy solution. Thank you, Happycamper

So I change the tabs maxim length (i chose 225) because i hate not seeing the name of the tabs that i have open, now i have 10 tabs on my sight on my monitor, i usually open a LOT of tabs for youtube videos or so on, and have a constant of 40+ tabs open

the issue is when i scroll through the tabs with my mouse wheel, it jumps 10 tabs at once, now i see the arrows on the side of the tabs, my monitor is Ultra Wide so is annoying to keep pressing that Scroll backwards & Forwards button especially when the speed is to slow, while my mouse wheel speed is in 10 tabs TO fast!

Is there a way to change the Speed of the mouse wheel scroll tabs ? something in about:config ? or a Add-on?

This is a new installation of Firefox. (Thank you, BTW). Whenever I try to open a new tab, a whole new window opens. It's making me crazy :-( In settings, I have this option checked: "Open links in tabs instead of new windows" But new windows are still opening. Thanks for your help!

Now i installed an app with shortcuts to youtube and netflix for easy use now whenever i press either of them they open a new firefox windows with none of my info no firefox account logged in nothing like a fresh install and it is also that when that window is opened and i open another shortcut then another windows isnt opened and just a new tab is opened in the fresh install windows

I've noticed recently after system reboots that Firefox forgets the "Open previous windows and tabs" setting and restarts with only a blank tab. I've confirmed that this setting is ticked prior to the reboot. I know I can restore the session under History but why isn't Firefox remembering this setting and re-opening the windows & tabs like previously?

Running Firefox 135.0.1 and Mac Sequoia 15.3 (but has been happening in recent previous versions of both).

I am recently having problems with Firefox not opening my tabs when I log into my computer. I can get them back by using history but it's fiddly and not all of them appear (and often not the most recent ones.) Can anyone tell me what the problem might be and how to rectify this. I am also having problems with Onedrive which started at the same time. I am not sure if the two things are connected or not.

I do not speak or understand firefox program. So explaining why I continually have to fight with this program is ridiculous if you don't speak and use the language I USE AS A CUSTOMER in simple terms. I should not have to access upper people and pay money to configure my computer I paid money for already and Firesux continually ruins. I need simple terms to stop my pages from jumping behind what ever that stupid thing is that hides them. I hate that I lose so much passwords and simple processes after every gd update or whim of the programMers. This is wasting time I do not have. AGAIN!
