I am repeatedly experiencing entire deletion of all saved passwords for unknown reasons or cause. I initially thought the Firefox Updates were the cause so paused them, it has not been effective.

I have been told that there is a way to recover old passwords and or those in another profile (I do not have another profile that I am aware of. The recovery would be ideal but would settle for just halting the erasure of passwords saved and used daily.

Hi.I have no sound in browsing allthough i have in all other cases.i returned with this problem one more time.I solved it for a while with unmute with videos.But now allthough i have unmute done i have no sound again.Thank you

2 days ago QR-codes stopped to show when I use Firefox, I still get the codes if I use Safari or other browsers. Please help me, because I love using Firefox... Regards Uffe

How can I set a different home page for each container tab? It seems the default option is the same 1 home page regardless of which container tab it's in. But if I truly want to separate work vs. home by use of container tabs, then I'd like to default to different home pages.

Как сделать так чтобы при открытии ссылок с панели закладок они открывались в новой вкладке а не в той которой уже что то открыто,типо если у меня активная вкладка ютуб и я хочу открыть твич то при нажатии на твич закладку он откроет в вкладке ютуба тем самым ютуб пропадет и все пипец.В настройках не нашел чет насчет этого ничего,если это нельзя поменять то я ржу и удаляю этот браузер

My desktop Firefox (version 155.0.1) has recently became unable to consistently access the Web site at this Web site this Web site. Chrome successfully accesses the site 100% of the time. Firefox's connection failures are intermittent, unpredictable, and usually go away on their own after varying time intervals (sometimes can't connect for up to 24 hours). I see status messages saying Firefox is trying to connect to the site, but it eventually gives up and times out.

I cleared the Firefox cache, but that had no effect. I don't recall making any significant changes to the Firefox settings lately. Any suggestions on what to look at/try would be greatly appreciated.

(Yes, I know the site doesn't use https: Its protocol is outside my control).

Hi! I reached out on Friday and was sent a code that expired in 5 minutes, missed the deadline and had to leave the library. I updated Firefox to 155 and can't find my bookmarks. Also found that a Microsoft update included Goggle Chrome that I uninstalled. Please advise on getting my bookmarks back thank you. I only have 30 minutes left on line. When searching inside a webpage the color of the item found hardly distinguishable with my theme. I tried to modify the ui.textSelectBackgroundAttention parameter of config. No results. The color stays the same old one.

Hi, I wrote about a month ago and didn't get help in recovering my lost bookmarks. I've spent the month looking at .JSONLZ4 files to see if there was anything there, nothing I could find. I've gone through all the suggestions and haven't found the bookmarks. I have limited time on line, and appreciate the volunteers' time in addressing this issue, any help you can offer is greatly appreciated. Thank you! Mark

Hello! Newly downloaded Firefox and was prompted about the free built-in VPN through the toolbar button. After multiple attempts, I am stuck in a loop. I hit the button to "Get Started," sign in to my account, and then the process starts again.

I have tried all the troubleshooting that I have found and I am at a loss. Has it just not rolled out to me yet?

The 'eye' link to view the password or the 'copy' link doesn't work. I've tried to export the passwords - that didn't download. iMac 2020 - using macos - SeQuoia 15.7.4

Firefox is screwing my display with a screen logging warning message. Removal instructions are 100% useless.

This is so annoying. I’m sure its simples if you’re a techhie, but for muppets its hopeless, I’m desperate for a solution as i cant use Firefox now

Hello, this is the basic problem:

The short version is that there is a problem with Firefox not interacting with the scrub bar and volume bar. (all other controls work fine) We know it's a Firefox thing because everything works with Brave. (or an interaction between Firefox and the OS at least, Firefox is heavily involved)

You can use the Firefox manifesto V0.2. video for an example, as it displays all the above problems for me.

I can get you guys whatever other data might be needed, but I kinda need an idea where to look to try and fix this, as all the other posts I have managed to find don't seem to have similar enough issues to work.

Edit/Update: I have done some further testing and discovered that it is firefox's default/built in player that is the problem. I can use the 'site specific' players (like from reddit) just fine. So there is something happening with that default one.

Whenever I turn the free 50GN Firefox VPN on, regardless of the set VPN location, my connection immediately cuts. I've tried refreshing Firefox, raising and lowering my security and DNS over HTTPs settings, clearing DNS cache, and updating Firefox, but none of these attempts fixed it. I can tell its the VPN since everything will load again after I turn it off.

When I had my DNS over HTTPs set to default, it used to say I was connected to cloudflare, but after trying the VPN with it set to off or custom, it now says "DNS over HTTPs is off" when set to default. When I turned on the VPN while the default setting was on, it gave me an error message regarding cloudflare that I can't remember or recreate now that the "DNS over HTTPs is off" at all times. It will only say I'm using cloudflare on the custom setting.

I had a similar issue to this issue a couple months ago, but I resolved it by putting my security settings to default. This time, it seems to be a bit more complex than that.
