I've got an M2 MacAir running the latest version of Sonoma. Within the last week, the battery power has fallen off a cliff. It barely runs for a couple of hours and recharging takes nearly half a day. I'm not running anything unusual just social media & YT videos. This seems to have coincided with the latest Firefox update. I was wondering if this might be contributing to it or if this is a common problem since Sonoma & FF updates?

Anyone any ideas?

open app on desktop, closes within 40 seconds whether browsing, playing a bookmarked game or just watching opening page. I uninstalled app, reinstalled with saving bookmarks then without saving apps, it stills closes

Hello Good People,

I installed Firefox a few days ago and it was looking good. I don't like that icon in the top-left hand so I right clicked it and removed it. All was good. However, today there is a blank black space in the corner as if the icon was back (but without an actual icon). It's only a small thing but it bugs me. I want the tabs to be shifted all the way over to the left like they have been up to today. It's triggering my OCD. Anyway, any advice appreciated.

Hello, I've installed Firefox twice in the last couple of days (Windows 10 - I think) and I continue to receive messages that say I need to install the latest version.

Do you issue updates daily, or is there something wrong with my Firefox installation or is it something else?

Firefox works great on every other video site. But Youtube will not show or play video. I have refreshed Firefox, disabled add on. Restarted my computer, tested all hardware. No Bueno...

Currently, I use Firefox version: 116.0.2 or v117.0 on Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS.

I encountered a phenomenon like this:

• When I logged in to the application, in the tab I was working on, the Firefox session memory was lost (don't open new tabs)

Steps: 1. Login to the application 2. Operate on the screen 3. Navigate to other URLs, but still on this tab 4. Session storage was lost

What is the cause of this phenomenon? How can I fix it?

Some websites still managed to smuggle in popups despite all the blockings. I use as add-ons: privacy badger, no-script, ublock origin and recently tried popup blocker (strict) and even have the 'block pop-up windows' enabled. I also tried to fiddle around in ´about:config´ but nothing helps. I think it's a recent occurrence as I don't remember having this problem, let's say, a couple of months ago.

The funny thing is that this problem doesn't occur in opera-browser (in which I hardly use extensions).

The websites that this occurs are: arabicpost.net (a pop-up will occur about 10 sec after right-clicking a new tab). focus.de (a video pop-up will occur if there's a video in it). Again opera-browser blocks all of this. I expect there will be other websites to add in the future.

Hello! I synced my browsing data yesterday by signing in to firefox account and reset my OS(window 10) to improve my laptop's speed. When I am trying to get back my browsing data back after resetting and installing firefox by signing in to my firefox account and pressing the Sync Now button then its not giving me my browsing data back. Why is it so? Need Help. Thank You!!

Can you recommend some kind of extension thet will only check current icons for the bookmarks? Just that. I don't need duplicate bookmarks checker, inactice checker and God knows what else checker. Just icons, that's good enough for me.

Several pages don't display properly. espn doesn't have a menu, cnbc displays and then goes blank, as do some articles on nytimes.com. These and other anomalies all work fine on safari. Any help greatly appreciated. Jim

I have many tabs open at the same time and I'm noticing tabs from Urban Dictionary in particular are automatically changing to suspicious sites, quite a few porn sites in fact.

Is this something Urban Dictionary is doing to direct viewers to sponsors or is there a bug in my FF browser?

I accepted this the other day but now don't want it. It is a Print popup & at bottom says Grow I can not find how to remove this. Popup shows this: Unlock the Print Button!

I have a number of music clips I want to put in one or more playlists to use with VLC Media Player. How do I create such a playlist? (If I'm asking in the wrong place, I apologize.)

I have Screwfix.com as a bookmark in my Firefox browser(default) and have recently found that I am unable to log in to Screwfix.

Screwfix tell me that I should be able to log in using Microsoft Edge (I can) but I prefer Firefox!

Can you sort this out for me please?
