Is it possible to have folders with a lot of bookmarks displayed in multiple columns, instead of the scroll arrow?

Side question, is it possible to reduce bookmark list item thickness? I like the redesign, but the bookmarks are super thick, would much prefer the old, thin ones.

Normally, when I click on a link that connects to a file, I'll get an option window allowing "Save" or "Open with". A few days ago, FF is defaulting to "Save" The same operation in Chrome still returns the option window.

Is there a setting I need to change?

tried changing homepage, blank, mozilla, others. When i close and reopen mozilla browzer the yahoo homepage is the only one that appears. It came with the mozilla download. I already deleted it from the settings, but it keeps popping up. I tried the suggested one on website.

I had to re-download firefox and it will not do anything once I type into the url box. Can you please email me on how to fix this. Before I switch to another browser, as I am not as happy as I used to be with your product.

I have used Mozilla for more than ten years. I NEVER had to do all of this. I just want to turn on my computer, click on the Mozilla icon, and read my mail. I am very upset that you're putting me through all of this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I changed my search engine to Norton. Now when I click on tab for a new page it comes up with Norton search and I no longer have my widgets with my sites. I have deleted the search and have tried everything to get the widgets of my favorite sites back on when I hit the "+" sign for a new page.

Help needed

I would like to set up a user interface for my wife and a separate one for myself on Firefox. It seems that with the old Netscape Navigator browser this was pretty common. Is there a way to set this up using Firefox?

It's just a bit annoying not really a problem. I just don't want this to interfere with any upgrades that may come along..

I bought a new laptop but when i log in sync nothing gets synced so i lost all my passwords! I do have the recovery key of the old sync account. Am i able to recover my old sync data that is very important for me.

I'm using Windows 8.1 and 10.0 on different desktops and laptops and I have the same response going to some web pages. I have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player ( 19 ) installed.

I was checking compatibility of my website. So I opened http://www.sethermal.com. It looked fine until I hovered over a link. Firefox added the website and broke the link.

Example. I entered www.sethermal.com into the address bar. The site came up fine. I hover over "Site Map" link on my page. Link is http://www.sethermal.com/pages/site-map.html Before clicking the link I looked at the bottom and Firefox shows www.sethermal.com/\\www.sethermal.com\pages\site-map.html When I click the link obviously I get 404 Page Not Found

Why is this happening?

I had Windows 8/1 on my Dell Desktop PC XPS 8500 with 24GB memory; a fast machine. I have a solid internet connection through my telephone company, CenturyLink; always works excellently. Firefox worked great. Then, last week or so I downloaded the upgrade to Windows 10 and since then, I keep having problems. Firefox has slowed to a crawl, when it does work. It often crashes, the web pages I go to often won't open. I tried re-setting my modem; no improvement. I "asked" Mozilla how to fix and the answer I received online made no sense. My Firefox - which is the latest - didn't have any of the places the answer told me to go to. The 4-line icon does not open to "options," like the answer said. I am not an expert, obviously, but I am also not an idiot. I can follow directions except the directions I received did not apply to anything I could find on my Firefox of my display screen. When I re-set Firefox I lost too much of what I had saved; I will not do that again. Is there a problem with Windows 10 and Firefox? Like I said, on 8.1 everything was exceptional. Is there a conflict with any software I am using? Where do I look for answers? Also, I could NOT access the Firefox Health Report. The directions to find it I received do not correspond to anything on my Firefox page or my Options. I don't know what to do. Please, I hope you can help me.

I have the new firefox 43, when i type things in to the addressee bar, my most used web sites pop up at the top and i press the down arrow key once and i get the web site i want, but now the 1st item is always the search option, i dont need or want it to be there, i have a search bar for searching.

How do i completely 100% remove the search icon from the address bar so that the 1st item in the list goes back to being web addresses?

Ps I also find it very disconcerting that during this upgrade i was asked if i wanted search option/suggestions in the address bar and i said no, but when i was looking in the options to get rid of this new "feature" that option was turned on.

What other of my preferences during setup are you just ignoring?

My bookmarks suddenly stopped working when I click on them. The information is still there--I can right-click, copy the link, paste in my address bar, and open each site, but when I simply click on the bookmark, nothing happens. I tried updating Firefox again and it's up to date.

When I use a search engine ( mostly Google) Firefox says it prevents sites from opening up other tabs - but then they open anyway - they are so intrusive - what is wrong? And how do I sort it?
