I'm having trouble downloading any add-ons whilst using Firefox the error says:

"To use these add-ons, you'll need to download Firefox"

I have re-download Firefox and the error still shows up.

Not sure what else to do.

I got a new Mac Pro desktop (not new, but new to me, 2010 model), promptly Downloaded Firefox, signed in, tried to find where to Import all the Bookmarks that I've saved on my MacBook (over the last 6 years, hundreds on bookmarks; including about 30 that I use daily for work) ... COULD NOT FIND THIS AS AN OPTION ANYWHERE!!!! Went to the settings page... Went to Sync Tab... Hit Sync Now... NOW ALL OF MY BOOKMARKS THAT WERE ON MY MacBook have been Deleted & replaced with the only 2 Bookmarks saved on my 'new' MacPro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT WENT THE WRONG WAY!!!!!!!! How can I get all my BOOKMARKS back and have them on both computers????? SOOOOOOOO FRUSTRATED RIGHT NOW! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had all my Bookmarks organized neatly into folders on the toolbar. THEY'RE ALL GONE NOW!

A week ago I started using a primary password for FF. I learned it by heart, also copied it to my iPhone in a safe notation (I have access to the notation using my finger print). It worked just fine for the first days. Today I tried to use the primary password again, in order to enter a website, but somehow FF denies me entrance, again and again. No spelling issues or missing characters, because I copy the primary password from my iPhone notation and paste it into the primary password field on my Mac. In FF Lockwise (on my iPhone) I can also still see my primary FF password, which is exactly the same. Typing it down character by character doesn’t solve the problem, nor does restarting FF. Caps lock is off. No issues with my keyboard. In my privacy and security setting I cannot to stop FF from asking my primary password, because (of course also there) it won’t recognize the primary password I enter...

There is no one who knows about my primary password nor has anyone access to my computer or iPhone. So there is no way I could explain somebody to have been able to change my primary password. Could anybody please explain to me what might be going on? Did other people experience the same issue? What steps should I take to try to solve it?

And I surely wish not to need to reset my primary password, because I will lose all my saved passwords from FF... Happily I still have access to FF Lockwise on my iPhone (using my finger print). So I could still copy each password and save it somewhere else. But that would mean quite a lot of work. Besides of that I don’t trust it to work better next time I set up a primary FF password…

Every single time I access a news story under yahoo.com the included pictures do not load without a reload and sometimes that does not work. Other browsers I have tried do not exhibit this behavior.

The placeholders for the pictures are just a grey box.

Here are an examples using one site: [Image 1] is Firefox's default 100% zoom. Note the flushed text at the left margin. Ideally, it should look like [Image 2], however, that was zoomed down to 90% where the text body also shrinks along with it and making reading a tad harder. Obviously, not the best solution. [Image 3] is the same site on Safari. [Image 4] is taken from Palemoon. [Image 5] is reddit.com's comment page, again with the unsightly margin problem.

Any ideas how to fix this? Would really appreciate any troubleshooting tips.

Firefox seems to reset to a newly downloaded state without reason. All my bookmarks and custom settings are lost. This has happened several times now and I do not know if it is a BigSur issue or a Firefox issue. My Mac was just updated to BigSur and I did not have this problem on Catalina. I am about to give up on Firefox because of this issue.

How do I get Domain Guessing to work in private windows? The address bar automatically adds 'www' and '.com' to URLS in regular windows and tabs but it does not do this in Private Browsing Windows. Is there a setting I'm missing or is it even possible in Private Browsing mode?

My Tab Bookmark stopped working completely. It won't mark anything anymore for months. Is there a way to fix this. I've restarted my computer hundreds of time so it's not that.

Can FF have a function that deletes cookies and trackers upon closing a Tab as well as when I close FF?

P.S......I have not browsed any extensions for this as of yet...

I use Firefox on mac OS 11.5.2 and the system language is English so is the main display language in Firefox (so I see File - Edit-View etc. on top in English) However whenever I try to print something or save a page the window that opens up is in Turkish. I tried to change this from preferences -> setting-> general -> language (which shows English US as default with Turkish as the second on the list) but the "remove" button is not active.

I also tried from Mac System Preferences -> Language&Region -> Apps I tried to add Firefox and select the language but language selection is not active (in gray "System Default-Turkish" is written and the message under that says Firefox doesn't support additional languages. For other apps like Word etc. system default language shows as English no problem.

Firefox continually prevents sfgate.com from reloading. This is a legitimate site I subscribe to. How can I disable this Firefox action?

Since yesterday I have been unable to open Google News. Nothing happens. In addition, today I am unable to open local news stations articles. The local station's home page ups but news stories do not.

Mac book air -----I was able in the past to add a new website to top sites in Firefox but they disappeared. In addition there are no blank boxes so I can add a website instead new boxes appear even if I dismiss them. Thank you
