Having issues with any tab that I open and navigate to a website that the bookmarks bar just disappears and I have to open an new tab that is not used just to get access to the bookmarks bar.

Not for sure why it collapses itself when actually browsing and was not for sure if there was a solution to fix this. I had searched online and could not find any solutions or anyone that has had the same issues.

I hope this applies here. I tried using the "-p" command fro Librewolf. Wiped out my sessions and settings.

Is there a way to do this in Firefox and or Librewolf?

I created a theme for myself via the Firefox Colors add-on, downloaded and uploaded the .xpi file to the Firefox add-on store and got it working great. However, I made one color tweak and when I went to upload the new .xpi file from Firefox Colors and when I go to manage my add-ons to update a new version, after uploading the updated theme, I get the following error:

"Version 1.0 already exists."

Not sure where I can go from here, but appreciate any help to get me able to update my theme.

I have been having this issue for such a long time now but its really getting ridiculous now, I have tried to follow so many guides and re-installs and .XPI installs and nothing is working, I am beyond stumped as to what can be the problem, someone please help me fix this.

I run a website that is custom built and we are seeing a potential issue in which the headers and header links are showing in the reader view of every page above the content for the page. But I'm also not sure if this is necessarily bad or might be affecting SEO.

Does anyone know whether this is detrimental to SEO, and if so, are there any suggestions on what might be causing this to happen in the code?

I formatted my computer and logged into firefox, but all of my things are gone. No bookmarks or anything. I've never had this problem before when formatting, so I'm hoping it's still somewhere? Thanks in advance

I use an translator extension for firefox for russian so I do not need this integrated tool and it's annoying to see it everytime I open a russian page. Please help me, I don't know what the source is of this translator but I can tell it's not from an extensions as I deleted every extension and tried, not worked.

I’m having trouble moving firefox to a new computer. I copy the files, expecting to see my existing set up with bookmarks, extensions, and passwords, and I get no response, no errors, just completely fresh firefox.

Both systems are on arch linux and both running Firefox 117.0. I completely close both firefox. I copy ~/.mozilla/firefox to an ext4 thumb drive from my old computer. on the new computer, I delete the existing ~/.mozilla/firefox. I copy the files from the thumb drive to /firefox/. I restart firefox. unmodified firefox

I’ve also tried chowing the files. and also chmoding 700 and 755 (advice from old stackoverflow threads) ive tried chowing and chmoding. Each time i restart the whole process for posterity. Still no response

I’m dumbfounded as to why it’s not working, and I don’t even know where to look now

When I click on a link from an email or document, Firefox opens but goes to my homepage and doesn't go to the link page. I've tried setting my home page to blank, changed the settings for opening a new tab or window, and the one for "switch to it immediately" but it doesn't seem to help. How do I fix this? Hi! please help me lmao i'm not sure wtf is going on. I recently (as of a week ago) had to wipe my pc and reinstall windows 10 after a botched update. So i installed firefox on a practically new pc. thing is... when i turn it on, i get this baby in my taskbar (see image): right under the pinned firefox and thunderbird logo, i get a really scrungly OLD (and i mean OLD) firefox logo. clicking it opens nothing. hovering over it shows a preview of a blank window with a random string as title. clicking it only opens a second blank window with nothing in it. eventually when windows finishes starting up, it closes itself. i'm scared it might be a virus. help? how do i make it stop??

I'm running firefox 117.0.1 on windows 10 home single language 1903 (sorry if that's wrong, i dont know where to check otherwise)

I was having trouble switching and logging out of Twitter so I thought I could just clear site cookies to make it work, but I weirdly discovered "about:preferences -> Manage Data -> Remove Selected / Remove All Shown" has no effect. i.e. after clearing, when I open up manage data again, they are still there. I did not try "Clear Data" above it because I was afraid of clearing out all my logins.

I reinstalled my computer several weeks ago and current profile was directly copied from my last machine, so this might be a possible cause? Could someone be so kind to help me get remove cookies and hopefully twitter back to work? Thank you in advance.

So some website didn't work for me and I pressed "forget" button thinking it only removes history from a particular website (no). That's it - EVERYTHING COLLAPSED, session is lost, all tabs gone. Trying to restore from "sessionstore.backup" - no result. Trying from synced - oh sure CRAP IS TURNED OFF like always for NO reason

Thanks a lot, douchebag morons. Hope you all die + anyone suggesting to copy "sessionrestore" gets testicle/boob cancer + anyone suggesting to turn sync on can eat my crap

The problem is that even after I've tinkered with the about:config settings to prevent Firefox from restoring my previous session after a crash, it just won't listen! The changes I make in about:config don't seem to save, and every time Firefox crashes, it happily reloads my old tabs and windows.

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated!

It would be great to be able to add a 'friendly name' to cards stored. I have personal, joint account and business cards saved, it can get a little confusing.

Certain images are never created or loaded in my browser. Youtube thumbnails, for example, display as only light grey squares. I thought maybe my addons might be causing this, but the only one that seems capable is uBlock Origin, and I even disabled it completely. Anyone know what could cause this? Surely its a caching issue or something. I can include images if anyones curious.
