In the recent month my youtube loads very slowly and when the video finally loads, the comment section, the recomended videos, and the left panel with subscribed channels dont load. A trick for faster loading is to click on a video, then ctrl+R to force refresh. This speeds the loading, but the above sections still dont load. Turning on the built-in VPN immediately makes youtube works properly: everything loads fast and fully. But the moment i turn-off the VPN - back to the problem.

I tried disabling all addons. Restart mozilla. Loading youtube in incognito. Clearing the cookies for the site. All of the above. Nothing helps.

I'm sure the problem is mozilla-related, because on another laptop connected to the same wifi everything loads fine. On my laptop, on chrome everything is fine. Loading videos from different sites works fine.

i found this article with similar problem: https://support.mozilla.org/eu/questions/1508828 but solution there seems to be updating the ublock's filters. I followed the steps mentioned, but my problem is still present.

I need to bookmark a previously bookmarked site in a different folder and retain the original where it was. I use a temporary folder for bookmarks, then save them later to related folders. A "duplicate" warning is no problem as long as it keeps the existing bookmark where it was purposly saved. In short, let me have duplicate bookmarks for the same site! Seems to me that older Firefox versions allowed this.

For years as soon as I'd turn on Firefox a number ofd articles about news, entertainment, sports, etc..... and ads would appear. They just stopped one day and I can't get them back. I have redownloaded Firefox but it didn't help. How do I het those back?

This has been happening for 3 days. The login works fine on Microsoft edge but doesn't work with Firefox.

Please advise what I have to do to get my e-mail in Firefox.

Tested on OpenSuse Tumbleweed both native & flatpak but also on latest live ubuntu image . After some seconds , with healthy buffer , video pauses/starts with new buffer , until it drops to 480p ignoring the manually 4K setting . When setting manually again to 4K , YT throws error . Blocking av1 and switching to vp9 fixes it . Hardware capable of running av1 (amd , rdna3 , rx 7800t) , local videos or using other chromium based browsers work fine .

I just reinstalled Firefox. When I click on the Themes and Extensions link, it goes to the correct page, but the 95% of the page shows the themes. The far left 5% shows some parts of letters, but only the very left edge of them. It appears that the two display panels it's supposed to show have been reset to that 95%/5% view.

How do I reset the page panels?

The new Firefox (157.0) is not allowing Amazon Music to play in the web version. Worked fine before. I turned off Ad blocker and it still is not working. Amazon Music has to allow a window at the bottom of the page to show song playing and whatnot. Please help!

Suddenly all shortcuts have disappeared from Firefox new tabs. I have tried re-entering new ones, but it wont edit/save them either. Firefox version 115.42.0esr (old Mac OS).

Clicking a tab to activate it often just closes or mutes it by mistake because the area is so small.

Just make them the same size as on the top bar. It doesn't matter if the text is vertical.

When using Firefox for my browser, and using Yahoo for my emails, I cannot attach more than three small, email sized j'peg's, at a time, or I get a "Cannot be saved, as a draft" splash screen, and the email locks up. If I attach, only three attachments, let them load, then attach additional sets, of three j'peg's, it will upload them, and, allow me to send the email. My local PC repair shop has been on my PC, and witnessed this problem. They used another browser, and used my Yahoo email a/c, without an issue - all eight photos uploaded correctly. Their decision is, that it is a Firefox problem. PS: Before the last several "new, and improved, Firefox updates, all this worked, as it has, in the past.

I dont want Firefox latest update as it has destroyed my history, my bookmarks, and my profile. It has also slowed access to videos and browsing among websites. I can no longer open more than one window at a time for more than a few minutes before Firefox stalls ... just stops working . no crash message... nothing just a single dead window. I must then unplug my computer. I cant even get back to my windows start. My internet provider confirms that I am getting top speed; my tech says that all other single programs like Word and Excel function at lightening speeds but not if they are open in conjunction with an internet website. This problem occurred sometime the week of September 12th when a Firefox update was installed. Now I am prevented from accessing the internet UNLESS I ACCESS THE UPDATE and refigure it. How do I uninstall this update as I need to access videos for a university class and run Word at the same time which is impossible now! dona bretherick

But I'm struggling to see which one is which with the new outline icons. Can you give an option (or just bring back) the solid colour icons please?

I'm using Mac Catalina OS, version 10.15.8, and the latest version of Firefox as my browser. How can I increase the font and icon size on the Firefox toolbar?The existing font size is too small and hard to read. Going to about:config and clicking on "accept the risk and continue" plus typing "layout.css.devPixelsPerPx" doesn't seem to work for me. 'Simply put, I need clear instructions that allow me to resolve the aforementioned problem.

日本語でfirefoxを利用しています。 よく文章を入力欄に日本語で打ち込んでいると、赤い波の下線が引かれます。それがスペルチェックであることは知っているのですが、具体的にどんな基準で正誤を判断しているのかもわかりません。かと言って修正してくれるわけでもないのでオフにしようと思うのですが、その前にこの機能がどういう性質のものかは知っておきたいです。

例えばなんの問題もないように見える 

「りんごは美味しい。」 という文章もこの機能によると間違っていると表示されます。 「。」記号を抜くと下線は消えたりとよくわからない機能です。

これは果たして有用ですか？

追記、日本語辞書はfirefoxにダウンロードされていると思います。

図のように、ページの中に青や白文字で青背景のポップアップが出てきて、サイトに関連する単語でgeminiが文章を生成するということがしばしばほかでも起こります。

これがwebサイト側の問題なのか、端末の問題なのか、firefoxの問題なのか検索エンジンのGoogleの問題なのかがわからないです。解決できる方がいたら教えてください。できれば消したいと思っています。
