In the past when I reinstalled Windows and then Firefox, I would sign into my account and all my bookmarks/addons etc. would automatically get reinstalled. Today I had to reinstall Windows and when I logged into my firefox account, nothing happened. Does Mozilla no longer keep these settings for us? I don't have any other devices to sync off of and never have, so where did all those settings come from when I did previous reinstalls?

everytime you update firefox, i loose my personal toolbar that took me a long time to set up. how do i get it back without all the work? also, what happened to the printer icon in the main toolbar?

I am using Firefox 119.0.1 under Windows 10 Home Version 22H2 OS build 19045.3693

I had the page open in Firefox before the owner corrected the typo.

Immediately after the correction was online, all other browsers displayed the corrected version. But even now, hours later, after many resets by "Reload Tab", the Firefox tab still displays the typo-version.

I consider this to be a malfunction. "Reload tab" should bypass all caches, and reload the whole page directly from its server. - Is this a known bug? - If "Reload Tab" does not go to the source bypassing all caches, what doe it do? - Is there a workaround?

My iMac is OSX. I use Firefox browser most of the time. I had used Safari years ago. Chrome had rarely been used. Firefox problems recently began. Please help.

Steps to reproduce: 1. Open youtube 2. Open any video 3. Hit back and navigate to youtube main page 4. Press media key play/pause on keyboard

Expected result: nothing happens Actual result: the sound from the video continues on the tab with youtube main page, the tab has "PLAYING" on it

its the browser, the opperative said when I phoned in about no access. try chrome, they said and true enough it worked. Just shy of 15 years with firefox and now nothing but problems, the cut and paste does not work and now this! pointless staying with them

I want extensions to have white/black-lists, so they're only allowed or blocked on certain pages e.g facebook container ruins instagram experience... and I can't block it on *instagram.com* Such feature would significantly enhance UX on firefox

I have a personal ' writing email' template in Yahoo mail which I use for a specific community. It contains relevant information which saves me from having to type it in everytime I email the community. However, of late when using 'Compose' the template appears but when I try typing below the salutation I cannot use the 'Enter' button to move the cursor down the page to create the body text. Consequently my emails are just one line of type with no paragraphing.

Why is this?

Why does my tool bar disappear after typing in website in search bar? Book marks appear when I open a new window, however as soon as I type something in the search bar or click on a website the book marks disappear. I have to open a new window for them to reappear again. I didn't change any settings, it happened on it's own. I've added a screen shot for when I open a new window (book marks appear) and a screen shot for when I've typed something in the search bar (book marks disappear). Thank you!

Is there a way I can disable the "Pop out this video" button on the video player itself but keep the toggle present in the url bar? I have attached the pictures of what I am talking about I don't like the pop out button appearing on the video everytime I try to use my mouse around the video player but like the option of picture in picture seems like a good option for me.

Currently if I try to disable the button from the menu after right-clicking, it also disable the button present in the url bar.

My Windows Task Scheduler contains an entry called "Firefox Default Browser Agent". If I delete it, it returns. If I disable it, it re-enables itself. Can't be modified either. How do I turn it off permanently?

I already have telemetry and automatic updates both turned off.

Hi, I want to delete my acccount entirely and start fresh, I login to the website just fine, but when going to the "Delete Account" button I keep getting an "Incorrect Password" pop-up.

I've changed the password twice now, logged in just FINE, yet keep getting told I'm using the incorrect password when trying to delete my account.

I've tried on multiple different browsers now to delete the account and it's just not working.

I really wanted to swap over to Firefox but everytime I try, I get some insanely stupid issue that never ends up being resolved, I've found another thread from 2021 about this and they stated it never got fixed and they had to make a whole new email just to use the service.

This is getting be a more and more common message on CBC.CA -- click on a story, go there, it processes for a few moments, then posts THAT! Chrome doesn't do it but I'm having pw issues with chrome and would much rather stick with FF, so can this be fixed?! What's wrong, what's causing it? I'm using ad blockers but they don't seem to be the problem and I'm at my wits' end. I have no patience for this kind of bullshit, especially when everything always worked before this started happening. Typically it's about five stories out of the twenty-five or so offerings on the page but I'm sick of messing around with it, having to close the tab, go to something else and hope IT doesn't break! Is there a fix? I don't don't know to diagnose this stuff; I'm not a geek, I'm a user. I have SOME skills but not this. Is this FF or is this CBC?!

Try it: website is cbc,ca , just click on some stories and see if they hold. If they do for you then it's my FF.

Cannot prevent intrusive unwanted video on some pages; notably, CTV.ca which has an annoying widget which autoplays constantly and blockers are not effective, neither is video.autoplay.default=5 That USED to be the default no-fail go-to, now it has no effect whatsoever and I'm stymied in my attempts to block this stuff. What's next? How do i do this?
