Hi,

I use Firefox app in macos, android and ipados. The bookmarks across them are not synching automatically. I need to press sync manuelly to do. All apps are updated, all settings look fine. Please help me synch bookmarks across platforms. Thanks a lot.

Firefox will only start if I sign in as an administrator. It doesn't connect to the internet, and I can't get to the help screen. I did a refresh but that hasn't help. If I uninstall and then reinstall a new copy correct the problem? How do I save and reinstall my bookmarks and settings? I love Firefox and prefer it over other browsers. But I need to fix it and any help you provide will be very much appreciated. Thank you!

with this new version i lost everything i need to get back to an older version and get all my extentions my bookmarks back all my s desktop items that i had linked to firefox are gone i can no longer get face book or anything back to firefox book marks every thing i had with firefox

Since I upgraded to you, I am having trouble accessing important and medical info. I would like you to put every thing the way it was before. Easy access. You erraced some of my passwords, I want them back. I spend hours trying to find my info. I am 80 yrs old and do not need this aggravation. Thank you Moira

The recent update changed how the mute button works in Firefox, before it would replace the icon and would show text and whatnot if it was muted or wanted to autoplay; now it just always shows the mute/unmute button in a tab playing audio. This would normally be fine but it is causing my tabs to constantly be shrinking and expanding whenever the audio changes in a tab, and it's really frustrating me and it feels like an overall far worse user interface design than it was before, even if people were complaining about it. Is there some sort of middle ground where I can set a maximum tab size or something? I know this used to be a feature in about:config but it doesn't exist anymore for some reason. I've also tried using a userChrome CSS code for it that I found online; it got rid of the button but it still made the tab size change and the code I tried using for maximum tab size also didn't affect that. Really starting to frustrate me! Please give me any advice I feel like I've exhausted all my options lol

FF is offering up possible login names for a particular site I have used previously even though I have removed all related browsing history, form data, and cookies (and cleared the cache). What am I missing? Is it using stored history for unrelated sites to guess at a user name, or is there some other hidden history I need to clear?

I use Firefox on a Mac to access Brightspace for my classes. I also use Grammarly. When copying text from the Grammarly widgets and pasting it into the Brightspace HTML editor, the text is stripped of hard returns, causing paragraphs to collapse without any breaks between them.

I have tried pasting as unformatted text, and the issue persists. This issue does not occur in Chrome, so I suspect it is due to how Firefox handles clipboard data. I have not found a workaround or resolution for this.

Latest version of Firefox on macOS, Mac Mini M2 - 8 GB RAM and MacBook Air M3 - 16 GB RAM: Firefox malfunctions on launch - I have to force quit and relaunch it - Firefox starts to load then freezes. Firefox works, then I launch other applications like Chrome, Thunderbird, etc. Firefox freezes on the M2 8GB RAM but rarely on the M3 16GB. A few weeks ago, these problems didn't exist on either of my Macs - since an automatic update that I didn't notice, it's now a consistent occurrence.

Sometimes when I click on a stored bookmark all I get is a white page and no info.? when this happens I right click on the firefox icon in the taskbar and go to a new private window and after that I can get to the bookmarked site. wondering why this happens at times. I am using windows 10 for now but am planning to build another computer with windows 11 in the future.

A user I am servicing uses Firefox every day. They are on Windows 11. Every afternoon (sometimes at other times), Firefox stops working and loses its internet connection (everything else on their computer continues to be connected).  When they close and restart Firefox to reconnect, it then tells me the user that they are using an old profile and need to create a new one.  They're able to re-log into their Firefox account, which eventually resyncs all their data, but they then have to re-sign into everything, which is a major inconvenience.  The only workaround the I have found is to reinstall Firefox, ever time this happens which then allows the user to use all their settings until they have to repeat the process the next day (i.e., everything remains signed in and/or logging back in is easier than described above).

Using Facebook creates an "Isolated Web Content" which makes the page run slow then crash.

This has been happening for years, now and means I increasingly just don't use Firefox, switching to Chrome, instead.

This affects Facebook on my Mac (Sequoia) and PC (Windows 11) machines.

Thank you for the help! I'm wondering if other AI chatbots, Lumo, in particular, will continue to be added as options to the updated sidebar? An unofficial extension exists (https://codeberg.org/daskashk/lumo_ai_by_proton_chat_in_sidebar) that adds the ability for a link to appear in the sidebar. However, it does not offer the full integration that the official browser update provides to the other supported LLMs. I like Lumo for its privacy, encryption, and the ability to make "Projects." I started using a new laptop and when I receive emails through Outlook, the excel attachments won't open and I get a message saying that I don't have the pdf software. These are Excell files, not PDF. I've tried all the suggestions on-line but they still won't download as Excel files, only Firefox files.

Windows 2026-02 Preview Update (KB5077241) causes Acer laptop to crash when firefox opens when computer is started. Only on this laptop, other computers are unaffected. Firefox is the newest version and like mentioned, all other computers run the same security programs and vpn. The windows update needed to be uninstalled on the Acer laptop for it to operate correctly.

Initually I was having issues where I couldn't get the print menu to load up (forever stuck trying to load the preview), however since then it has progressed to downloads refusing to download and the hamburger menu in the menu bar doesn't react when left clicked at all.
