Help/About Firefox tells me I have - ver 112.0.1 (64-bit)

There is no option to automatically update.

I have downloaded this zip file - firefox-130.0(1).tar.bz2

QUESTION - How do I instal the update  ? - or can I not with my system - as below

Xtra-PC - Turbo 32 × 1 (purchased 2019)

Ubuntu 18.04.6 LTS

Running on 2010 Acer 4741G computer. 4Gb RAM Intel i5 2.27Ghz

Being an Amazon associate I need to be able to use the SiteStripe by Amazon on their website to get a short link to a product I want to promote and earn commissions from. Currently Microsoft Edge and Opera work fine with this. Firefox on the other hand does not show the link when prompted. It shows an empty field where the link is generated by Amazon on their SiteStripe..

I cannot sign into AA.com (https://www.aa.com/loyalty/login) on Firefox. Having to use MS Edge to access site. Have reported this via several "broken site" reports but to date, it's still not working.

Update kills WebGL function... last time had to strip everything FireFox out of the registry, erase anything FireFox from anywhere, and do a clean download and installation... Auto Update came yesterday... problem again!!! WHY This is the second time this has occured.

When I try to access the site rrf.rsm.govt.nz I get the error message "Azure Front Door WAF Policy - BLOCKED ACCESS. This is a sample message send from the Front Door WAF Policy linked to the called Frontend EndPoint. Test! " The site is the New Zealand government register of licensed radio transmitters.

I have previously accessed the site using Firefox with no problems. I can still access the site using Edge and Chrome (and Firefox on iOS).

Hi, I have always used my Firefox browser to access my bank accounts, one being my private account and the other for my company account. I noticed however last week that I could not log in to my company account but I had no problem logging in to my private account. I contacted the bank ( Handelsbank in Sweden) who were surprised but said that this problem may occasionally arise with the Firefox browser. (However it has never happened before to me over the last 10 years!) Is this a temporary glitch or do I have to switch to another browser?!

None of these however work - i.e. I cannot access the next step!

Only way I can gain access is through my stand alone computer. I no longer have a hand-held computer. So can we work through our problem via my computer. Otherwise, I don't know what to do. I'm totally fed up with this! I got this particular one trying to go to Amazon via a link from search but it's happening constantly with links from search and from other sites that I'm on. I am on Amazon a lot. I don't know what this behavior is, where it's coming from, why it's happening, or how to stop it. I'm at the point of just uninstalling Firefox because of it. I've tried the common fixes such as clearing cache and cookies as well as all saved data and it still persists. Firefox has been my default browser for a very long time but if this can't be stopped permanently, I'm done with it!

Hello support.

We have a job that runs every hour pinging a service. From 28th of August each hour we recieve several error emails.

Every querry that is re run completes normally. We can not figure out what the issue is.

We have checked everything on our side.

What is the cause of this? And how can we prevent it.

Dear colleagues:

I have made a page with a stack of z-indexed .heic images. The viewer clicks (jQuery) on the top image to reveal the next.

The page is local, not online. I'm on a Mac mini 2018, OS Ventura 13.6.1, Firefox 13.0.

Safari renders the operation correctly. Firefox fails to load the .heic images. Chrome also fails to load the images.

Any suggestions welcome. My 83yo brain sometimes misses things. cheers Chris

With my previous FF installation, it would remember both the width and the last selection in the sidebar after closing and re-opening FF.

I just formatted and reinstalled windows and now FF simply would not remember the last sidebar condition.

I'm using Windows 10 22H2 and FF 130 64-bit.

Favicons seem to be a problem for Firefox, at least on Linux Operating Systems. On multiple distros favicons simply don't show, while they may on Windows. Not trying to dig, but shouldn't this be a pretty basic feature that's expected for a browser no matter what OS is used? Even searching at the forums here for favicons reveals 222 potential threads - one would think that the sheer volume of reports issued for them not functioning correctly would prompt a unified remediation effort. Don't get me wrong, I love Firefox - have used it for decades now across a multitude of OS's - and favicons always used to display properly. Googling this issue will reveal several recommendations of 3rd party addons and tweaks. Can we make favicons just work (again?)

Hi there - I cannot connect to internet wifi (?) and it has the symbol with the exclamation mark. I am currently connecting to my mobile to use the internet. It's kind of weird? this message will probably go through - even stranger!!! so I can bring up the firefosx page but then not connect to a regular website. pleeeeeeeease help??? thank you!

Hi! I'm developing a web extension. I managed to install it via about:debugging "temporary extensions", and I can see the extension icon under the "puzzle button" in the toolbar.

I now want to pin it to the toolbar, it will save me a click when I'm trying to test things live.

When I click the puzzle button, there is no "pin to toolbar" option for the temporary extension, although I can see it for the extensions installed from the marketplace.

Is there a way to allow pinning for the extensions installed for debugging? Maybe an option in "about:config"?
