I run a website that is custom built and we are seeing a potential issue in which the headers and header links are showing in the reader view of every page above the content for the page. But I'm also not sure if this is necessarily bad or might be affecting SEO.

Does anyone know whether this is detrimental to SEO, and if so, are there any suggestions on what might be causing this to happen in the code?

All images, webm, gif etc. are loading, seemingly, exactly 20% upscaled compared to the real resolution of the media. I'm using a 4k TV (S95B), but I have desktop scaling at 100%, and browser scaling at 100%. I don't believe it's a GPU or OS system wide type setting because windows photo viewer gets pictures right. I'm using ShareX to measure the pixels of pictures. I can even load a local picture in a tab, and it will be upscaled beyond its native resolution. I have no idea why. I've tried a bunch of things, like setting layout.css.devPixelsPerPx to 1.0, which did nothing. I've reset Firefox to no avail, and I have noticed that Chrome is doing the same thing, which would usually indicate it could be the OS or GPU driver, but again, other apps load images perfectly normally. Do apps have categories on Windows now, where something like a "browser" can be told to treat media files differently than other media handling categories? I'm really lost at this point, nothing seems to work.

This issue was introduced by 117.0 Now I must click all URLs twice to get the website visited.

When I'm using my Firefox browser spell checking is working only with English language. Polish is my native language and I want use this function to Polish as well and set Polish as my default language. I tried to adding/removing other languages than Polish from options, setting higher priority to Polish language, how ever I have no result with that. Please help, will highly appreciate. This problem started yesterday and I cant seem to fix it where youtube is too wide for my screen without any indicator on the top of my screen saying that its zoomed in and I cant watch any videos fullscreen. This glitch isn't a problem on any other websites. I tried opening and closing the browser, I tried restarting my computer tried clearing my cache and cookies and I tried using different accounts but none of them seem to fix the problem!

Hello, once again the function of restoring recently closed windows has stopped working, it is displayed in gray and you cannot enter it I usually work on two or three windows at the same time and this function usually works, but I can't use it for the second or third time. I see with windows Firefox version 118 a TLS extension id 65037 on every client hello handshake containing a bunch of data. Does somebody know what this extension is used for? I couldn't find anything about this on the web or in the firefox docs / release notes. Other browser (chrome / edge) don't have this extension in use.

Hola. Mi ordenador tiene Debian 12. Utilizo Firefox 118, instalado a través de Flatpak. El problema que tengo en algunas páginas es que veo las fuentes pixeladas y la impresión es muy defectuosa, hasta el punto de no entender lo que aparece escrito. Esto sólo pasa en algunas páginas.

Si descargo directamente Firefox desde la página de Mozilla y abro la paǵina con una configuración limpia del navegador, las fuentes se ven correctamente; sin embargo, si sincronizo los datos de usuario, instalándose los datos, extensiones y demás las fuentes en determinadas páginas se ven mal.

Desactivé las extensiones pero el problema no se resuelve. Desde una instalación limpia de Firefox instalé una a una las extensiones y complementos, pero no logré reproducir el problema. Borré incluso la caché del navegador, pero nada. Y también sincronicé los datos de usuario en una instalación de Firefox en Fedora, pero el resultado es también negativo.

Alguna idea?

Is there a main location where Firefox extensions (like Forecastfox) keep their settings? If so, or if you happen to know where Forecastfox in particular keeps its settings, I could use some help locating this folder. I have a settings file I could put in there to overcome some difficulties that the folks at Mozillazine can't seem to help with. Hi! please help me lmao i'm not sure wtf is going on. I recently (as of a week ago) had to wipe my pc and reinstall windows 10 after a botched update. So i installed firefox on a practically new pc. thing is... when i turn it on, i get this baby in my taskbar (see image): right under the pinned firefox and thunderbird logo, i get a really scrungly OLD (and i mean OLD) firefox logo. clicking it opens nothing. hovering over it shows a preview of a blank window with a random string as title. clicking it only opens a second blank window with nothing in it. eventually when windows finishes starting up, it closes itself. i'm scared it might be a virus. help? how do i make it stop??

Few days ago, some of our clients and few (not all) internal PC are get stucked on a PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR on our website. Only on 117 windows version (118 developer version and 119 nightly seems ok). We tried to repair firefox, it works on 95% but we can't ask our client to do this. It works on Chrome & Edge.

We running out of ideas : - we only accept TLS 1.2 / 1.3 - checking CSP - Both IIS and Apache are not working - Firewall are not blocking

Certain images are never created or loaded in my browser. Youtube thumbnails, for example, display as only light grey squares. I thought maybe my addons might be causing this, but the only one that seems capable is uBlock Origin, and I even disabled it completely. Anyone know what could cause this? Surely its a caching issue or something. I can include images if anyones curious.

Hello! I have used Firefox on and off so I don't have a time frame of when this would have started exactly, but I have had some random completely black screens on both of my monitors dating back to at least 2-3 weeks ago that can only be fixed by powering down the entire PC. I've reinstalled my (NVIDIA) GPU drivers, rearranged display-port cables and just about anything before finally finding a fix, switching to edge. So far I've gone a week without black screening when with Firefox I'd get around 4 give or take a week (some days getting to 3 alone). I don't know what could cause it but I have noticed it only happens when first starting a video. Mostly YouTube but other video sites seem to have also caused it occasionally, I would just like to know what could be causing this, as I do prefer Firefox vastly and would like to switch back as soon as I can.

Recently, when I try to play a video on YouTube on Firefox, there is a flickering brightness effect (some aspects of the video seem to flicker bright and dark quickly) which is distracting and makes it difficult to watch anything. The effect persists even when launching in troubleshooting mode, and disabling hardware acceleration and restarting appears to have no effect. I have also been unsuccessful refreshing Firefox. Nevertheless, this issue is absent on Safari and Chrome when watching the same video.

When I find the same video two different places (ex: the Apple Sept 12 Event on Apple's site, versus on YouTube) only the YouTube video has the issue. However, I can't find any settings to change on YouTube to help this.

I have a problem with PDF showing.

If I take PDF generated by the lilypond and I open it from link like https://gitlab.com/lilypond/lilypond/uploads/f51162c65d5194db6dd3b4fb86fa4e42/bug.pdf, PDF looks well. If I open same PDF from disk by using link like file:///tmp/bug.pdf , PDF looks different (wrong). Some ledger lines missing.

I am running firefox 117.0 (64 bit) for Arch linux.
