I got an email with this subject "Please help us improve Firefox! (paid research opportunity)".

It had a link for me to complete a survey. Legit? Phishing?

I run a website that is custom built and we are seeing a potential issue in which the headers and header links are showing in the reader view of every page above the content for the page. But I'm also not sure if this is necessarily bad or might be affecting SEO.

Does anyone know whether this is detrimental to SEO, and if so, are there any suggestions on what might be causing this to happen in the code?

I do a LOT of research. That said, I guess I could go through MONTHS of history, but it would take forever to find them again. I happened to have two windows open, one with all my tabs, while the new window only had three tabs open. I needed to restart my Win 10 computer for a late security update, and yes, I did/do have my settings set to retain all open tabs. Well, when I went to shut down Firefox ver. 117.0 64bit, I closed the window with all my Important tabs down first. And lastly, the window with only the 4 tabs.

There was NO WARNING, NO POP-UP, NOTHING, that I was about to lose over 50 tabs!!!! Some having been opened for months (no, I don't shut my computer off unless I have to). So, the next time I opened Firefox, all I saw was 4 tabs.

THIS ISSUE needs to be addressed IMMEDIATELY. People NEED to know about this bug until fixed or a TWO LEVEL WARNING GIVING OUT VIA POP-UP, that they will lose ALL OF THE TABS if they shut down the wrong window first.

Please read the image. does it look like I am using the console window correctly? I am trying to interactively code. So, started with a very basic basic code. When I run it, i get an error. There must must be something wrong.

All images, webm, gif etc. are loading, seemingly, exactly 20% upscaled compared to the real resolution of the media. I'm using a 4k TV (S95B), but I have desktop scaling at 100%, and browser scaling at 100%. I don't believe it's a GPU or OS system wide type setting because windows photo viewer gets pictures right. I'm using ShareX to measure the pixels of pictures. I can even load a local picture in a tab, and it will be upscaled beyond its native resolution. I have no idea why. I've tried a bunch of things, like setting layout.css.devPixelsPerPx to 1.0, which did nothing. I've reset Firefox to no avail, and I have noticed that Chrome is doing the same thing, which would usually indicate it could be the OS or GPU driver, but again, other apps load images perfectly normally. Do apps have categories on Windows now, where something like a "browser" can be told to treat media files differently than other media handling categories? I'm really lost at this point, nothing seems to work.

So over this. Have been using FF for decades. Why FF does now randomly forget my previous session. Works fine for momths and then suddenly all previous session tabs are gone and recently closed windows loads a blank tab.

And yes, we have tried all the supposed fixes.

I've used Google as my preferred search engine since Google became available...

Now, I get asked repeatedly if I want to sign in to my Google account, too many Sponsored websites, location location location, and type in once, my search results need streamlined, but I cant see what I wrote the first time!

Don't waste my time please with a technical response asking me did I control + alt+ no I didn't I don't operate like that.

Give e a simple fix... I'm growing tired of the constant updates to Fire Fox... never had these issue when the browser came out... supposedly a more user friendly private browser.

This issue was introduced by 117.0 Now I must click all URLs twice to get the website visited.

When I'm using my Firefox browser spell checking is working only with English language. Polish is my native language and I want use this function to Polish as well and set Polish as my default language. I tried to adding/removing other languages than Polish from options, setting higher priority to Polish language, how ever I have no result with that. Please help, will highly appreciate. When I look at my history for a period other than "Today", it starts off with entries more recent than what I want. For example, if I click on "Older than 6 months" it starts off with hundreds of entries that are URLs I went to DURING the last 6 months -- but only a small minority of them in fact. Why does it do this? Is it just a bug?

Also, I notice that in the menu "Organize" there are things like "Cut", "Copy", and "Paste". What are they for? And what does "Restore" do in the menu "Import and Backup"?

This problem started yesterday and I cant seem to fix it where youtube is too wide for my screen without any indicator on the top of my screen saying that its zoomed in and I cant watch any videos fullscreen. This glitch isn't a problem on any other websites. I tried opening and closing the browser, I tried restarting my computer tried clearing my cache and cookies and I tried using different accounts but none of them seem to fix the problem!

Firefox for MacOS will not accept my new Primary Password - the exact same password that Firefox on my iPhone & iPad did accept! Firefox for MacOS keeps telling me the password is incorrect. I am using MacOS Ventura 13.5.2 & Firefox 117.0.1 (64-bit).

Is it to possible to set Firefox to use a 2.2 gamma instead of the sRGB piecewise function, when enabling color management?

In case this is not possible, could the devs please consider adding this option? SRGB piecewise function is not appropriate for LCD displays with contrast ratios below 2000:1.

Since the latest version of firefox installed when I go to this site for my mail Firefox won't auto fill the email address. It won't display any of the users When you tab to the password field, the list appears but only populates the password field.

Hello, once again the function of restoring recently closed windows has stopped working, it is displayed in gray and you cannot enter it I usually work on two or three windows at the same time and this function usually works, but I can't use it for the second or third time. So, no need to use 'about:config' magic and break warranty)))" What does that mean? I entered about:config, unchecked the "Warn me when I attempt to access these preferences", and checked something in there to allow me make a userChrome.css to be available. I still have 1 year laptop warranty, will that warranty become void if I did all of those things listed? The firefox itself didn't come within the laptop though (not pre-installed). And what warranty was that user talking about?
