Hello,

I've been experiencing a great deal of crashes recently, mostly just with individual tabs, but occasionally the Firefox window itself goes down as well. I've tried reinstalling and refreshing Firefox, and I've been doing checks to see if my RAM or other hardware are faulty with no results so far.

I've mostly experienced the issue when playing videos on YouTube, but I've had crashes just casually browsing other sites as well.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated, and thank you in advance.

I have tried multiple Firefox Extensions for saving images instead of using the default Right-click "Image Save as" function, so reduce steps. All of the extensions have the same issue. When the filename already exists, there is no failure but instead a (1) is appended to the end of the file name. No message/prompt either to skip/cancel. It just silently appends. And (2) (3) and so on.

Is this a limitation of the Firefox WebExtensions API? Is it not possible to return a verbose failure for existing filenames?

Today while using firefox all my open tabs and windows crashed. Due to the situation, I had to restart my computer because everything was stuck. When it restarted I couldn't restore the previous session so I used various methods to restore it but I still can't restore the windows and tabs that were open today. I would like you to restore my session from before the failure today.

I keep my shift schedule as a bookmark on my toolbar for quick reference. It's rather small 554x670.

Is there a url modifier to make it load at the %200 i usually look at it at?

The last Firefox update, 126.0 (64bit), that was installed 2 days ago has caused various website's commentary or forums to not be displayed. For example, Yahoo finance page, attempting to read the "community" section of a particular stock such as Walmart (WMT) nothing is displayed. This happens also on news websites that allow commentary. Google Chrome does display commentary but I don't like using Google.

This is not the first time commentary has not being displayed after an update. Happened a couple of times last year.

The desktop pc is running Windows 11, version 23H2.

This problem exists ONLY on Firefox. I vary search engines, from DuckDuckGo to Presearch and Startpage depending on the search results I get.

For no apparent reason I will get a "suspended connection" message on Startpage while using the Firefox browser. I have included both the link and a screenshot of the problematic page. The page will open perfectly several times, and then suddenly, in the same session, if I open a new Startpage tab, this message will appear. While the suspended connection message is visible in Firefox / Startpage, I will try Startpage in Edge, Opera, Chrome and Midori, and they all open to the Starpage beautifully.

I am using the Firefox 125.0.3 browser, I have cleared caches and cookies, and run full malware scans, with zero negative results, and yet this problem persists. It is sporadic, and does not occur on a predictable basis. It occurs whether the Mozilla VPN is on or not, and switching from on to off or off to on changes nothing, even after refreshing the page.

I am assuming that this is a Firefox issue, as the problem does not occur on other browsers

I can easily switch browsers and / or search engines, but Firefox in conjuction with Startpage is my preferred combo. I just find it frustrating in that I cannot fix it myself.

unable to receive emails for last 2 days, w11 desktop. I get the msg failed to connect to server Sending emails not put in sent folder, can save in local folder. No problems before this.

On nytimes.com some page elements are missing like pictures. the onepiecedle page just displays the background.

I tested troubleshoot mode, private window, etp off, private window, hardware accel. on/off, nothing seems to work.

Since Firefox update to 126.0 yesterday, any video I try to view from the Eurosport website has lost about the top third of the video. Prior to the update, I didn't have this problem with viewing the videos in Firefox, and if I access the website and videos using the MS Edge browser, the videos display correctly. See screen shots below from Firefox and Edge.

My Wife's computer - still on Windows 10 - says it can't start Firefox as it is still running, hitting the "close Firefox now" button just returns us to the same screen. I tried to uninstall and reinstall Firefox it tried to do a "reinstall" it says her profile is no longer available, while inconvenient she still should be able to start it up, but it still gives me the same message. that it is still running and needs closed. Trying to "close it doesn't do anything. I have restarted several times and even did a shut down and restart. Nothing seems to work. I assume some "stub" of Firefox is out there in the system/cache making Firefox think it is is still active but I can't find it to shut it down. Where do I need to go to "end task" on this phantom Firefox?

Other information: 1. We have Norton Security software installed, if that matters. 2. The same seems to happening to Thunderbird, but maybe I need to go to another help forum for that? 3. I am entering this issue from my computer that seems to be just fine with Firefox, so can't send browser data as it is irrelevant to the issue (it's on a different computer and install instance.

I have used Firefox as my default browser. However, when ever I click a link in my outlook email...it opens the page in MS edge. How can fix the issue and ensure the page opens only in Firefox.

I made sure everything was synced and my account logged in prior to reinstalling windows. I log into the same account and nothing is there. Help! How can I recover the bookmarks and history that are clearly selected in my profile?

Firefox - latest version, in Win 11 updated version, on my home server, will not load google.com pages, but intermittently works OK - frustratng. Other browsers, eg. Edge and Chrome access sites as normal on my laptop on my home network. My laptop using Firefox will load google.com pages when on another network. Is it my server, or Google, or Firefox doing this ?? Please provide any advice on solving this problem.

When I visit the web site virtueonline.org using Firefox browser, the Disqus comment section does not appear below articles on the site. Sometimes, when I go in and out of the article, the Disqus comment section will appear, but not always. When I use Microsoft Edge, the Disqus comment sections appear.

This randomly happened over the past few months but last couple days it's bad. The Google Sheets cells I have open on Firefox turn black. You can scroll and they will come back but just briefly and back to black. Very annoying as these are shared sheets for my business with other employees. It's not happening in Vivaldi Browser or Edge. I hate Chrome so not even trying it there but guessing it's fine. Seems to just be Firefox all of a sudden. See pic. FIREFOX won't print whole day of my google calendar - now it just prints when I get to the computer and print out the day - but then it skips the morning or night - BUT I can go to Chrome and it will print from 6am to 12midnight .... PLEASE get this fixed - such a pain to log in to another calendar/browser ETC all the time
