ff = 128.03 os = win11 extensions = problem still there when all off

when i close the last tab ... firefox closes. [*sigh*] way back when [several years ago], i could close all the tabs quickly and still have FF open and ready to go to my next site.

how can i get FF to behave as i want? [*grin*]

I save a list of >20 sites on which I allow popups. What is the most efficient way to enter those sites?

==> I would like to avoid entering each one individually.

Dear Mozilla team, as a old fan from early days of Mozilla Firefox, Im quite dissapointed with the same issue I am facing with Firefox browser. Even I created my profile, which one you can check from which year has been created, even after I synchronised all my bookmars, passwords etc etc, still no data is restored. I formated my laptop last week and thought that this time, with syncronising I will save a lot of time buut veery dissapointed again. STILL I am not having back my 100+ login details saved on Firefox. Also tabs. Now, on my browser promts taht my account is all syncronised but still blanco browser, with not a single saved data!

I will appreciate your help to get back my data, as soon as possible.

I mistakenly removed an important extension (LinkLocker, which I wrote, actually) from my synced work computer, not realizing it would be removed from my home laptop as well.

Unfortunately, I saved a significant amount of data in that extension's storage and, after reinstalling it, can't seem to recover it.

Is this data lost forever or is there some place I can look to find it?

I can't seem to figure this out on my own so i'm hoping someone here can help.

I have some unwanted emails showing up as suggested when i right click on a browser tab and select "share" and i don't know how to find where they are saved on the browser to be able to delete them so they're no longer auto-suggested. Right clicking on the suggested email doesn't show any options and they are not saved in auto-fill either.

Havent tried deleting all cookies/history, but im not sure if that would help.. Anyone have any ideas?

When I enter a search term like "Boston hotels map" I'm looking for a map but instead I get a list of commercial web sites that are trying to sell me a hotel room - how do I change this so that I get information, not ads?

I chose to use Firefox a few months ago after starting to have problems with Chrome. At first it was great, no problems. Then just the other day, it showed it was doing a software update. OK, no big problem right. I thought. This morning I tried to go into a favorite web sit. It is were I get my main news from also, but this time I got a message showing that Cloudflare was blocking the channel, then said it was an error but to try back later. It just kept doing this. What is up with this. I won't accept this. I want this cloudflare disabled. You say it is your software for protecting your software. If I want my computer protected, I'll make the decision as to how it is protected. I want cloudflare removed or I'll find another web browser.

Can Firefox please sort out why I get this message when i try to type or search firefox for proton.me my email service. The error code keeps comming up and I need to get pass it.

The error was Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to proton.me. The OCSP response is not yet valid (contains a date in the future). Error code: SEC_ERROR_OCSP_FUTURE_RESPONSE The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the web site owners to inform them of this problem.

That is why I am contacting firefox help team. Please fix it. I am signed into firefox and still get that message.

When trying to load Firefox an error message pops up saying Error: Platform Version "129.0.1" is not compatible with minVersion >= 129.0 maxVersion <= 129.0

HELP

This has been going on for a long time - I, and others, can't copy info from some web sites - - CAN do so with Edge.

Followed the instructions on google to fix but does not fix. And, yes, the box in my settings is checked.

PG&E is notifying its customers on its website that Firefox (among others) is "unsupported."

   "Your browser is unsupported.
   "Please use a different browser. To learn more, visit pge.com/supported-browsers."

I have not noticed any problems viewing/interacting anywhere on their site and would like to know why they are making this warning. I suspect that Mozilla.org would have a similar concern.

I've been having issues with media playback on firefox.

Almost any video source that isn't from youtube cannot play in firefox, giving the error: "No Video with supported format and MIME type found"

Testing the same video on Chromium has no problems.

Using Fedora Linux on an AMD system. And Fedora Flatpak build.

System specs below if required.

Any idea to get this up and running would be really appreciated. I think I already installed the propriety media codecs for fedora since the problem isn't showing up on chromium it looks like a firefox issue.
