New computer (Windows 11) shows 'Old Firefox Data'. Opened hidden files. Using File Explorer found Profile Folder & renamed it 'old'. Copied and pasted 'Old Firefox Data' as new profile. Firefox would not open. Had to remove etc and Firefox worked again. Thought this maybe the easiest way to get my Bookmarks back.
PS Presume Profile Folder does not contain Thunderbird Addresses?

The installer now tells me that I had Firefox before and will only reinstall it in the previous directory. No other option is offered.
I am LONG used to being deprived of user choice by the likes of Microsoft or Apple, but Mozilla SHOULD KNOW BETTER.

I do have and use Windows 10 - so I don't see what is the problem? I tried to refresh and that didn't work either.

I've used Firefox for a long time and really prefer it, but I'm having to change to Chrome to be able to complete my work.

I can't work out how to change my email address and password in your records. My new email address is [edited] @gmail.com My old email address was [edited] @internode.on.net. Can someone please advise me how I notify firefox of this change
