When I went to open the vpn file, I got a message saying that it may contain malicious code that may harm my pc? Therefore Ive purchased the monthly payment but as of yet been unwilling to open the file. Also I got vpn in order to watch peacock T.V. as well as NBC and MSNBC Ive no idea how to access these programs in the U.S. as Im in Canada?

When scrolling the print edition of the Wall Street Journal on an iPad (8th gen)the minutest flick of thumb up will return the view to page one. Doesn’t matter which page, it always goes back to page one. Very annoying and doesn’t happen when I’m using Safari nor when viewing other web sites so have to surmise it’s a glitch, setting or specific to the WSJ.

Firefox updated today (11/30/23) to version 120. All of the shortcut icons on my start tab disappeared. I've tried to re-enter but they are not accepted. Please help!! I depended on these shortcuts for my work.

when I'm on sites playing games, i.e. face book, I keep getting this across the bottom of my screen:

How can I disable it? I can't take a screen shot because if I place my mouse on it, it skips to another place on my screen.

Menu, tabs, X (for closing program) do not appear at start. I then have to do CTRL ALT Delete to teminate Firefox I have repeatedly re-installed Firefox but then have to reset all my preferences/bookmarks/etc. and the problem re-appears randomly. I just restarted Firefox and THIS TIME it worked! Normal heading: (attached) Top of Screen/Heading when error appears: No "Get Support Mozilla Support - Mozilla Firefox/no Tabs line/no bookmark toolbar/ no - + X in upper right corner" --->have to do a CTRL ALT DEL to terminate the program. This is a new ASUS Vivobook 15 Computer with Windows 11 that I've had only a week.

Is Firefox aware that when authoring e-mail in Microsoft Word, then copying them into the BT e-mail, all the control characters are transferred with it the ASCII text. I have checked with other people, and it is not just my machine. I now have to copy the e-mail into notepad first then copy to email, to just get the ASCII characters in the email.

Since the last FF update (115.5esr, Windows 8.1 Pro) I keep getting the following error message when I try to access one particular website:

The page isn’t redirecting properly An error occurred during a connection to www.doordash.com.

   This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

I have tried virtually all the solutions suggested online. I have cleared my cache, deleted cookies and site data, and I have tried to access the site using Troubleshooting mode, all to no avail. I contacted support for the particular website and they have no difficulty accessing the site with FF.

I can access the site in question with the Chrome browser, so the issue would appear to lie with Mozilla. I use this particular site frequently and would much prefer to continue to access it using it with FF, as I have done for over a year. I just installed Chrome on my Windows 8.1 Pro PC solely for the purposes of accessing this one website.

Help in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I have tried to disable hardware acceleration, refresh firefox, reinstall, and nothing works. It hangs every single time when searching on google or connecting to websites. This really sucks because I have used firefox since the beginning and don't want to have to stop now..

New user here. My web search results dont fill the screen, they always require scrolling down to see the whole page at once (as designed). why are the top 2 bands 3 times as tall as the font in them, they use up valuable space. see snip insert below. i have trouble enough with windows 10 without squinting and all this needless scrolling down looking for the rest of the buttons. I use LastPass and its truly infuriating how big the boxes are and how hard to find the information, particularly the "go" buttons. TYIA Shandy

I cannot get screen share, webcam share, microphone share to work with my default profile. I get a Cross Origin Request Blocked. If I create a new profile everything works as it should even if I install all the same plugins. I have tried changing security..cross_origin in about:config and it makes no difference.

I have a lot of tab groups and sorting in my default profile, so I'd prefer not to have to set that up in a new profile. Importing to a new profile ends me up with the same issue as above.

This error is profile specific and I am wondering if anyone knows the specific profile files that I could regenerate, delete or replace to tackle this cross origin blocking.

Also I've disabled all my plugins, and enhanced tracking protection on the default profile and it still does not work..

I need a fix for my ESPN+ account. I can watch live sports and videos but cannot read ESPN+ articles. Everything works great with Edge and Chrome, so maybe I will have to switch browsers.

I have been receiving the following error code 'PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR' on several website on my Firefox browser. Sometime, not all the time, I get the same error message while trying to use YouTube, while other times the site loads but says that I am offline and no internet connection. I have done all of the fixes that they say to use online and nothing seems to work. YouTube will occasionally work but none of the thumbnails will show up. Then there are other site that work fine.

Very sorry. I saw 2 icons on my desktop and deleted one without checking to see if my Bookmarks were in both of them. They weren't. Do you know of any way to retrieve what I deleted, or should I just put them back as I need them? Also, I set up my original Mozilla account 5 years ago, and don't remember how to add a bookmark panel on the left of the screen.

For the last two months since November 2023), log-in to the Wells Fargo online bank site no longer goes past the log-in page. If I use Edge log-in works fine. I use private browsing on Firefox, but I always have. I have Firefox password enabled, but I always decline to use it for online banking when it pops up (and it doesn't matter if I accept it, still no log-in on Firefox).

I don't want to use Edge but Firefox no longer is working on this task for me.

In my Firefox settings I have selected "check for updates but let [me] choose to install them" but Firefox automatically installs updates while I'm using it and immediately requires me to restart the browser. All navigation thereafter returns a page saying I have to restart Firefox to continue.

It's incredibly annoying to have to then sign in to all half dozen or more sites that I was already signed in to. I'm going to have to abandon Firefox if this continues.

Is it a security setting my employer configured? I think I have the same problem at home.

I frequently need to access a Hi-Fi device on my local ethernet network from https://www.skytune.net For example ... http://192.168.1.68/ or http://192.168.1.62/ (The last 2 digits of the IP change from time to time)

Recently, I keep getting unnecessary security alerts - Any idea why? I have use https only disabled.

I could be with skytune's certificate. I have done everything I can to bypass these errors.

The Disable Protection For Now option seems to be unavailable if the latest Firefox.
