My v6 of Firefox was crashing so I updated to v24.0. I had a lot of tabs (65) open before the update and now they are gone, but my bookmarks are all there. Can I get my tabs back or are they all "gone with the wind"? TIA.... [running Win XP Pro]

Heyy @WINSIG, You are using v6.0 , this may be called, being insecure. .. My means to say that Now, Currently Mozilla firefox has launched their new update v24.0 and you was using v6.0 which is decreases minus 4 times. . thats why you can't recover. . Okay, There was no option remaining to recover that tabs you have losted. By clicking "RESTORE", you may get all of your tabs again, but by the way, from bad luck, you just ignored that message and you carry forwarded. As bookmarks files remains exist while updating, installing and uninstalling browser. So, You got some rewards from god :) !!

Hi winsig, I don't know what that first reply was about!

Step 1 would be to salvage your sessionstore files and make backup copies before exiting Firefox or making any other changes.

Open your active Firefox profile folder (personal settings folder) using

Help > Troubleshooting Information > "Show Folder" button

Copy all files that start with sessionstore to a safe location such as your documents folder.

Does the sessionstore.bak file look as though it has a timestamp of your last good session, or something later?

You might also check to see whether Firefox automatically performed a Reset during your upgrade. In that case, you may find a second profile in one of these two locations:

(1) Windows desktop, named "Old Firefox Data"

(2) Firefox profiles folder (one level up from your active profile folder)

If you find either of those, make backups of those sessionstore files as well (under different names or in a different folder to avoid overwriting)

If you have anything promising, we can discuss how to swap sessionstore files and check whether any of them have your missing tabs.

Thank You so much, I am going to beginning at the Mozilla Support. Above answer was my first answer.

Actually, I researched and then I replied, I didn't got any clue to restore the old sessions.

So, I replied that there is no option to restore old data's. SORRY..PLZ OMIT me,
