Gmail through gtalk is diverted to open only in IE
When I get mail alert in Gtalk and if I open the mail it promptly opened in Mozilla only.I was using 23.0b 6 version.When I upgraded this to 23.0 b7 gmail from g talk is diverted to IE even though Mozilla is set as my browser(default). I deleted23.0 b7 and upgraded to Mozilla 23.0 b8.still the problem remains.i did try all the possible changes and it never helped.I finally decided to turn of IE and the gmail through gtalk is not opening (even in Mozilla). What is your suggestion?I think this is a bug in latest Mozilla version.Any solution for this.

Though I did everything nothing has changed.If I click mail alert in gtalk it opens only in IE even though I'm using Mozilla.This started happening only after Mozilla upgradation.Till then it was working fine.So I think that the problem is lying in Mozilla only.This is quite frustrating.

Any particular reason that you are using the Firefox 23 Beta versions, rather than the Firefox 22 Release version?
No reasons.I always go for updated version whenever it is available.I forgot to mention my system specifications. Dell Inspiron 7420 SE 8 GB RAM 1 TB HDD,core i7 3rd Gen.

It remains as a mystery.I'm using Win8 OS...I tried all your suggestions.This is clearly a bug.Your program developers are to fix it.

The latest version of Mozilla is not only eating peace of users' mind it also spread browser high-jackers like Qvo6 and delta homes.I downloaded some add ons for facebook(style) and I was infected.It took strenuous attempts to get rid of this.
