Why dont you put a button on your browser for tools like all the other browsers do? I have to do a search to figure out how to make any changes.
My other browsers have a "tool button" I can click on to go in and change security settings, empty out the cache and history plus other things. i can find one with Firefox.

Why should Firefox look or be like other browsers??
Hit the Alt key to see the Menu Bar which has the Tools menu, or use the Firefox app button, then select Options.

Thanks for the tip, it worked. I wasn't concerned about how the browser looked but it would be helpful to know how to get things done without having to do a search or read the instructions for using it. Now if they could just figure out how to stop the Shockwave app from crashing. That's the reason I quit using Google Chrome and switched to Foxfire in the first place. I't not as bad but still too many crashes. Thanks again...
Maybe you aren't aware of it due to not wanting to read usage directions or Help pages for web browsers, and just want to "wing it", but IE and Opera also use the Alt key to temporarily reveal the Menu Bar when the Menu Bar is not showing.

You can check for problems caused by recent Flash updates and try these:
- disable a possible RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension for Firefox and update the RealPlayer if installed
- disable protected mode in Flash 11.3 and later
- disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
