I like to turn my cookies on and off fairly often. Every time I do this, I have to click on the upper-left corner, then choose Options --> Options --> Privacy tab --> check "Accept cookies from sites". Then I have to repeat this to un-check the box when I don't want cookies. And sometimes I don't remember what the current setting of that checkbox is, so I have to do this procedure just to see what it says.

Is there any way to put the "Accept cookies from sites" checkbox on a toolbar (or on the status bar, or anything like that)? I'm hoping this is a simple customization that might be possible without requiring an add-on. -- Thanks!

Thanks! I ended up going with Cookie Controller instead, since it was the most perfectly tailored to my needs. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/cookie-controller/
