Firefox freezes and fails to load website when HTTP 301 is received
When attempting to access http://*.kijiji.com/ earlier today (for example, toronto, or calgary, etc..) Firefox froze up and wouldn't work. This was a repeatable experiment on the same website after numerous task-kills and new sessions in Firefox.
Unfortunately, this problem seems to have resolved itself spontaneously, so I won't be able to provide additional details -- but I thought it would be something that Mozilla support might want to look into.
The headers I received in PuTTY (which seem to NOT have changed) were:
HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently Server: Apache-Coyote/1.1 Location: http://calgary.ebayclassifieds.com/ Content-Language: en-US Content-Encoding: gzip Vary: Accept-Encoding Date: Wed, 16 Nov 2011 23:27:18 GMT Transfer-Encoding: chunked Connection: keep-alive Connection: Transfer-Encoding Set-Cookie: p=""; Domain=ebayclassifieds.com; Expires=Thu, 01-Jan-1970 00:00:10 GMT; Path=/ Cache-Control: private=Set-Cookie Expires: Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 GMT
