Existing bookmarks in Firefox 3.6.13 (Windows XP) seem to work OK. When I have a new website open and click on the bookmark star at the end of the web address to bookmark that site, the bookmark star briefly turns yellow ... then returns to white again, and the site is not bookmarked. If I use the alternative method, clicking on 'Bookmark This Site' it also fails to bookmark. I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled but no difference. It also tells me no updates are available.
