Can I keep the old Firefox look if I update

more options

I'm currently running Firefox 88.0.1 on Windows. When Firefox first released 91.0 I updated but quickly reinstalled an older version, I hate the new look with the floating tabs and oversimplified colors. One of the reasons I use Firefox is cause it doesn't look like a Chrome wannabe. But now I can't open my browser without it prompting me to update. I would like to stay up to date for security reasons and the such. Is there anyway I can keep the old Firefox look and still update?

What do you mean by "oversimplified colors"?

You can override the new tab styling by creating a userChrome.css files and applying your own rules. I have more info on my unofficial page here: https://www.userchrome.org/firefox-89-styling-proton-ui.html

There's also a helpful community for UI restyling on: https://www.reddit.com/r/FirefoxCSS/
