hi, developer Firefox I would like to thank you for the awesome works you have made in 'Firefox' to me, I have used 'Firefox' for along years ago it's the best browser I've been used at all but I always ask why 'Firefox' don't have an option to prevent the browser from open until the user enters the password I think it's more secure if it will be offered in the new version please take this issue into considering

Hello, If you’re using Firefox on mobile, you can download Firefox Focus, which locks the app with Touch ID/Face ID or passcode and won’t open until the passcode is entered.

Hope this helps!

There has never been a way to lock Firefox with a password. On mobile devices you have an App lock feature, but desktop computers lack this feature. A long time ago there were Legacy extension that offered this feature, but that could easily be bypassed by starting in Safe Mode (now called Troubleshoot Mode). You would have to restrict access to Firefox in the OS e.g. via parental controls to make this work reliably.
