bookmarks cumbersome
I hope to find out how I can use bookmarks easier. Is there a way to bring up a list of all my bookmarks with only 1 click of the mouse? Right now when I hit the small star icon it then makes me click 1 of several choices. It would be much more convenient to need only 1 click to open the entire list. Secondly I want to arrange permanently the bookmarks in alphabetical order but even if I do this successfully the next time I open the bookmark list they are not in order. This happens every time I try to fix it. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

While for some people, a dozen bookmarks is all they need. However, for most others, the bookmarks become a library.
So the management of bookmarks in FF is not unlike the management of files and folders on your operating system. Additionally there are little ways to make bookmarks a bit more convenient to access.
For now, it is unclear why it is absolutely necessary to access/manage bookmarks with a single click.
If you have the Menu Bar on your browser, it would require just 2 clicks of a mouse button to access the bookmark library. See attached pic.
Also, if you right mouse click somewhere next to the URL address field, you shouldsee the option to customize the toolbar of bookmarks, as well.
Incidentally, a new version of FF is coming out next week. So there may be a chance that the bookmarks sub system will be different. :-)

You can add the "Bookmarks Menu" button that shows the bookmarks in a drop-down list to the Navigation Toolbar. You can drag the Bookmarks Menu button from the Customize palette to the Navigation Toolbar
