It's been a while since I did this. . .

On your Mac,

1. open Firefox 2. select File from the top line menu 3. choose Import from another browser 4. select the either Chrome or Safari 5. when done, run sync to transfer data to your iOS device

Manythanks. I'm no expert, but I did this during the initial Firefox Installation. Unfortunately, safari passwords are "secreted" away in some location, I believe is Keychain. It's accessing this etc is the problem. Quite why Firefox themselves haven't sorted this glitch is beyond me.
