why does my page say "The page has expired due to inactivity. Please refresh and try again." after i login

Hi Neha, if you click the Reload button on the toolbar, or use one of the keyboard shortcuts --
- F5
- Ctrl+r
-- does the page load properly?
This could be a problem with Firefox loading the page from its web cache instead of retrieving the page fresh from the server. However, I don't recognize the site, so that's just a guess.
See if this helps.
Type about:preferences#privacy<enter> in the address bar. The button next to History, select Use Custom Settings.
Turn off Always Use Private Browsing Mode Turn on Remember My Browsing And Download History At the bottom of the page, turn on Clear History When Firefox Closes. At the far right, press the Settings button. Turn on ONLY Cache and Form And Search History leaving the others off.
