Enable auto-fill on your iPhone or iPad

Hi Jill, I believe you should be able to go to the menu bar on the far right, select preferences and there will be a section that allows for autofill. This is often disabled by default to protect your information, so you need to manually enable. Firefox is the opposite of other browsers that often automatically 'opt you in' for everything without your knowledge. Some of those opt-ins can be harmful as it exposes much data that could enable hacking/stealing/etc. All new things take adjustment, but hang in there--i think you will appreciate the how firefox has your best interests in mind. I also recommend duckduckgo as a search engine.

Hi JLhillhouse, let's start again. Where is autofill not working? For example:

• address bar when typing site addresses
• forms on websites you've visited before, with values you entered into those fields before
• address fields on websites, to pick up addresses you've used before
• somewhere else
