Are "Top sites" on the New Tab page supposed to be updated by frecency?
I expect Top Sites to show sites that I use frequently in recent times. Yet, once the site is there it refuses to go away even if I stop going there for weeks and months. As a result, new sites never appear on the page. To clarify, I'm not asking about editing them manually, I just want to know if what I'm seeing is intentional, or it doesn't work right.

It is by "most visits" so even if you don't go there for a while it may still have more visits than newer links, so it should update occasionally when you view another site more often, but say you visited all your top sites 1000 times, you'd have to visit another site 1001 times to make it replace it, I believe.
