Let's start with; Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.

Warning ! ! This will log you out of sites you're logged in to. You may also lose any settings for that website.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?

While you are in safe mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration {web link} in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.

Hi jerrysroadservice,

Sorry to hear you are having issues with accessing Facebook's website. Here is an article about troubleshooting issues with Facebook :

Fix problems with Facebook games, chat and more {link}

Did you try checking other browsers to see if you could connect?

If so, I would also check to see if any firewall is causing this issue with connectivity with Firefox :

Configure firewalls so that Firefox can access the Internet {link}

If malware is an issue make sure your operating system is up to date and take a look at this article for further suggestions : Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware {link}

Hope this helps
