Restore older homepage version before latest update (Nov 17, 2017)
My Firefox homepage completely changed since yesterday. I do not like it and want my old page back.
It was easy, simple and clean. All was at my (well worn) fingertips. There is no web advice that works for restoring this page.

I think the best solution for you for now is to download Firefox ESR (52) and turn off automatic updates: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/all/
Turning off automatic updates can be done in Tools->Options->Advanced->Update Or go to about:config and search for app.update.auto and turn it off.
