Quantum sucks rocks. I can't use my Hootlet app and the menu bar is terribly designed. It's hard to find anything I want and visually it's jarring.

I'd like to go back to regular Firefox. Where can I go to download an older version and use it?

Thank you kindly!

I did revert successfully, and it's made my life much easier. Firefox isn't my primary browser but I like it very much as the secondary tool for when I have to do dual-browser tasks.

The most common of those, for me, involves a job responsibility where I set up scheduled pass-alongs of web clippings, news articles, etc., using the Hootsuite scheduler via the "Hootlet" extension.

Having that gone was pretty stressful- if this hadn't solved it, I'd have had to install Chrome, as that's the only other browser the Hootlet extension works with. I prefer Firefox!

So, much obliged to you for the solution.

I didn't even make it past line 2:

Type about:preferences#advanced<enter> in the address bar.

Under Advanced, Select Update.

I can go to about:preferences#advanced -- but I can't find any "Advanced" aside from the fonts. Nor can I find an option to "select update."

What am I missing?

S-U-C-K-S-!

WOW, dropped the ball on this one!

Many Add-Ons have quit working. Suggested Add-Ons do NOT work.

I'm Linux now and Chrome is a no-no.

Try the Android version if you want real sucking.

I used to like Firefox.

Time for a NEW browser boys & girls!

Mozilla forgot that Firefox users used Firefox because IT'S NOT CHROME! We didn't want Firefox to try to compete with Chrome. We didn't care about speed. We cared about the add-ons we couldn't get on Chrome. So what did they do? They kill most of the add-ons for the sake of speed (which the users don't care about) and "updated" the add-on system to be more Chrome-like.

epic facepalm:::

RIP Firefox.
