Upgraded to OS X Sierra. Started Firefox and it crashed about 30 seconds after starting. Tried to restart it. Same thing. Problem continues every time I try to start it. Tried starting it in Safe Mode. Same thing. Tried refreshing it. Same thing. Uninstalled and did a clean install. Same issue. Followed every procedure I could find and nothing seems to work. Kind of wondering what's going on and how I can fix it so I can ditch Safari (useless POS browser)

Not very technical btw.

Thoughts?

Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe websites. Is the problem still there?

I noticed a problem trying to do it the harder way though. Under /User/<username>/Library/Application Support/ there is no folder for Firefox or Mozilla. Even showing hidden files reveals nothing.

When I look under /User/<username>/Library/ there is also no folder for Firefox and the one for Mozilla only contains a single file: Global.regs.

I tried to do a clean install again and no new files were added in those folders. Just for posterity and to cover all of my bases, I also downloaded and installed the beta version of Firefox 50.0b11. That also didn't work. Going back to 49.0.02 didn't work either.

key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?

So, uh....any progress or do I just never use Firefox again?

I'll call again.

Sorry I am not a Mac user. I have however often seen crashes related to font issues with Macs.

Maybe these will help
