Type about:support in the address bar and press enter.

Under the page logo on the left side, you will see Application Basics. Under this find Profile Folder. To its right press the button Show Folder. This will open your file browser to the current Firefox profile. Now Close Firefox.

This is your current profile. Copy the folder As Is to a folder on a thumb drive. Then Copy the folder to the new system.

ThankyouFred. I've FINALLY managed (shouting because the VERY SLOW MS Edge took forever) to download FF to my laptop, and successfully copied the folder to a thumb drive, but clueless about exactly where to copy the folder in the laptop.

Repeat the above instructions on the new computer system to open its profile. From here, decide if you want to overwrite the current profile, or create a new one using the files from the thumb drive.

Current: Copy the folder from the thumb drive into the current profile folder. If you are asked, overwrite the current files.

New: Copy the folder from the thumb drive into the main profiles folder. C:\Users\==<User>==\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles

Now start the Firefox Profile Manager and select the newly copied profile.

Something I did went wrong, Fred, sorry. When I copied the old to the new, FF said "Your profile Firefox profile could not be loaded" and would not open.

I then uninstalled FF, downloaded a fresh copy, and lo-and-behold, the new one does not open with the same message.

Whatever I broke, I broke it good...

All is well... I followed your instructions (the last url) and recovered FF. This stuff is not for very old men with little patience. Thank you for yours...
