inboxes invisible reply impossible (solved by restoring old profile). McAfee?

After some hickups at my provider and restarting TB, only the treeview was visible. Clicking on any entry (inbox, sent, local, ...) did not show the accompanying mails although they were still there. It was only possible to see all the mails if the entry was "opened in new tab". Unfortunately, from here a reply was not possible; the buttons were unresponsive.

Taken actions: compact folder(s), repair folder(s), removed all msf files, full reinstall (after backup profile). Nothing helped.

Environment: Win10P

All very inconvenient, please help!

<edit> In the meantime I found an older profile on another machine and copied that in. This solved all the problems. Still would like to know what caused the problems and how to solve them if no older profile is available.

last person with McAfee add-on installed that had issue disabled it and everything went back to normal. Perhaps that will work for you as well.
