Amongst others, I pay online at Wells Fargo, Time Warner Cable etc, Using Firefox 35 I have always been able to pay online, I have called the companies, they assure me it is not their website, so it must be FF Mozilla, All of sudden, I go online and sign in and now these places get me to a screen or two and then either send me back to signon or just sit/frozen, and I cannot go any further. I can however use Chrome for same website and pay payments at same places. I have added no new addons I do and have always used Adblock Plus but even turning it off and allowing popups does not get me anywhere, does anyone know what to do about this? I have learned the hard way that resetting is a big mess. I have of course cleared cookies and cache, but I think there is something you could tell me to put into about:config command line to fix this issue? I should be able to access all that previously was accessible and is accessible on chrome, so its definitely mozilla firefox. ( already tried to go up to 36...too many problems, will wait before trying to update that one, or skip to next update) safe mode is probably not the way to go, have tried that before too. I have windows 7 and its the same computer all this time, same ff mozilla 35 so, any ideas???

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache. Note: This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to. To clear cache and cookies do the following:

  1. Click the menu button New Fx Menu, choose History, and then "Clear Recent History...".
  2. Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
  3. Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
  4. From the details list, check Cache and Cookies and uncheck everything else.
  5. Now click the "Clear Now" button.

Further information can be found in the Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox article.

I did as you stated, was able to go to payments in the wells fargo, but with time warner cable, it didn't work, it just kept sitting on same page. I even went back and did a 2nd time. Any other things to fix this? AS I said previously I can go to chrome, but used to always be able to do with FF and that is my preferred browser.

Some added toolbar and anti-virus add-ons are known to cause Firefox issues. Disable All of them.
