After syncing many of my bookmarks disappeared!
Sync is a disaster. I guess I finally got it to work--and many of my recent bookmarks are gone. At this point I have two questions:
1. How do I get those bookmarks back?
2. How do I disable sync, never to use it again?

No, wait, now it seems it duplicated many of my bookmarks but I may not have lost any. This relates to a problem I posted earlier. I have no idea what to expect from syncing. Why don't you have some explanation of what syncing does and what you can expect once you sync!
I've now got to wade thru thousands of bookmarks to find out what happened.
