Option page "flips" across the page with unlimited motion!

When I access the Option page from Firefox, it blinks and flips incessantly! This does not happen when I go online with Internet Explorer. I have downloaded your latest version of Firefox from a reminder on Yahoo. Anything I can or should do! I also get some blinking on my desktop page on occasion. Is this a virus or malware? I have anti-virus and anti-malware on my machine! ????

Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window or otherwise make changes.
