Hi Harvey, you can create a new Firefox desktop shortcut if yours has disappeared. I'm going to assume its installed in the standard location, so these would be the steps:

(1) right-click a blank area of the Windows desktop, click New, click Shortcut

(2) Where it says Type the location of the item, paste the following (including the " at the beginning and end)

"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"

(3) Click Next

(4) Where it says Type a name for this shortcut, type

Firefox

(or any name you like)

(5) Click Finish

Windows should add the shortcut to your desktop.

Success?
