Why does my bookmarks sidebar vanish every 10 seconds? I want it displayed permanately. Very annoying.g
Since the update last week my bookmarks sidebar will not stay on. I can't believe how inconvenient this is. it's driving me crazy. I can open it with ctrl+b but it only stays there for about 10 seconds, then it's gone...please help. I simply want it to stay there all the time.

That is not standard behavior.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extension (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
